It's a beautiful pool surrounded by beach (so it's sea water) and it has the CBD as background. And apart from swimming and enjoying the relaxing time you can have there, you can watch the best sunsets ever!

Very picturesque location convenient to the city. Never seen the place looking untidy as its kept clean regularly by someone If there is a downside it is the parking and its popularity at the weekends but even then it's worth the visit Not suitable for people who can't manage the 60+ steps

"Red Leaf" Pool has been a family favourite of ours for fifty years. Now called Murray Rose Pool, it remains a perfect spot to enjoy Sydney Harbour swimming. While attracting all ages, for all reasons, it is especially ideal for young children.

A stunning spot for a quiet morning swim. Easily accessible by bus from Edgecliff train station and a short walk from Double Bay Centre. Murray Rose Pool is a short stretch of sandy beach with a salt water sea pool fenced off from the surrounding bay. This morning it was very quiet and I suspect this is the best time... More

Whenever we visit family in Double Bay, Sydney we take the kids to this secret little harbourside beach, right next door! Walk down the steps near the library and there you are! There's a pontoon for the kids to swim out to, its all netted and safe, run around the board walk, admire the view, right on the harbour, little... More

Hi everyone - I'm a local resident and tired of reminding visitors to this part of the world 'smoking is prohibited' anywhere on the beach. There are people who leave their butts and rubbish behind. This is unique place and we pay significant council fees to keep it maintained. If you don't want to abide by these rules then stay... More

Excellent little pool with brilliant facilities - showers/toilets/snacks. Its perfect for really hot days because there is lots of shaded park up from the beach.

That's quite a chilled out pool if you wanna have an easy "beach" day and live in the eastern suburbs. It is pretty small though and quite crowded on the weekends, but during the week it can be very very nice and chilled out. Especially for families and kids the pool is nice due to the barrier and some things... More

It's a good spot if you've got older kids that can carry their own bags and food. Our kids (10 in total aged between 5months to 12 years) didn't like it coz they said the ladder was too slippery and the steps were too far apart for them to climb up. I didn't really like it for the younger kiddies... More

We meet regularly for breakfast as a group and can strongly recommend this cafe Great views over the harbour in a quiet setting that's never too crowded. Reasonable prices and tasty food plus good coffee. Recommended
