Wanda Beach is wide expanse of beautiful clean sand. Not being close to a railway line, it is less crowded than the main Cronulla beaches. There is plenty of parking available and the main part of the beach is serviced by life guards. A pleasant place to visit.

pretty much grew up at this beach, surfing and getting sick barrels!
But its great for families, there is heaps of space and its a bit less busy than the southern end of Cronulla, its often hard to get a park but there is plenty around. Showers and toilet block and the beach is patrolled in summer. The water is generally very safe with decent sandbanks but always swim between the red and yellow flags people!

Wanda beach is the best beach in the world. Great facilities, coffee shop the wanderer close by, showers, great grass area for kids, just the best secret beach for me and the misses every saturday morning. Great for a walk, really good lifesavers, and the waves are rolling and water is clean. Have I sold it to you?

Asked by my daughter to head down to Cronulla for a swim and first pulled up at Elouera Beach but it was closed to swimmers! So walked up the beach to try Wanda as they had the flags a flying but the swell. The beach front had been decimated by the king tides & the cyclone that hit further north and the shore break was severe. Not the beaches fault as it normally is a great spot to sun, surf & relax but I only lasted 5 minutes while the daughter didn't get past the shore. Huge dumpers & sand everywhere! Actually surprised that the lifeguards kept it open? They actually halved the flag area as we were leaving. Still a great beach & hopefully better on the next visit?

What a real problem you are faced with when you have to pick between the Bate Bay Beaches ! My all time favourite has always been Wanda as it misses the majority of the train day trippers as it's just that bit too far to walk on a warm day ! But the beach is well presented, patrolled & safe for most levels and my family & I love nothing more then spending a lazy morning on the sand. On our latest visit we lucked in with a fly past up the beach by two old RAAF planes from HARS down Albion Park Aerodrome. We are spoilt in the Shire with our beautiful beaches which I think is Great !!

Long walk in the sun along this beach. Walked up to a small cafe in a side street called 2 Figs and had fish and chips for lunch. The sun was warm and the wind was chilly, very refreshing and I saw my first whale for the season!

I visited this place on one of the most windy day. Sand was flowing with wind, yet was awesome place to be. Peaceful beach for walk and lots of shells around to collect.

A special place especially on a sunny & calm Winters Day ! No crowds like Summer and you can sometimes have the Beach to yourself for a swim , walk or run on the sand. Gets less crowded than the other more accessible beaches and is easy access to the headland & a great walk as well. Children's Play ground & an outdoor Gym equipment nearby for a healthy combo !

Love this beach...big enough to find a perfect spot to bake, read or just relax. Good free parking. Great spot for photos.
