Always a relaxing and social walk from Wanda south to the point the views are always varied with close in Cafes and open beautifully manicured parks.

I've done this walk a kazillion times and never tire of it A great 6km round trip ... relatively flat ... amazing views ... sea breezes ... I get there early if I can to avoid the crowds of latter morning ... but anytime is great If feeling energetic start further north - say GreenHills, Wanda or Eloura One of... More

Starts out from the newly refurbished headland at the southern end of Cronulla Beach, up some steps to warm up, then off on a reasonably flat walk to the entrance to Port Hacking. First stop is to stand on the headland to watch the ever present surfers riding 'The Point'. The next two points of interest are Shark Island just... More

Many other better beaches around. Nothing wrong with this one but nothing notable to remember. Would not be on my top 20 list.

Thanks for your review! The Shire has many beaches to explore, with walks taking in historic Kurnell and the cliffs of Cape Solander in the north to the secluded swimming spots of the Royal National Park in the south... This is an easy walk around the peninsula with access to four patrolled beaches, plus dining, shopping and entertainment. More

Living locally, walking along the Esplanade at Cronulla is a favourite past-time for our whole family. We often will park the car at South Cronulla - or if we are feeling extra energetic, we will park further north along the beach at either North Cronulla, Elouera or Wanda, and walk down to Bass and Flinders and back, finishing with coffee... Always a great walk along the esplanade, day or night, the views are fantastic during the day and the lights at night are awesome especially during Christmas, except when the winds are high

Enjoyed the walk very much. Beautiful views and deep blue sky make for an invigorating start to the day. Although many people seemed to be on the path, it did not seem to be crowded. Path is well maintained and seems to go on forever. We just did a part of it. What a nice experience to have in a... More
