We had a pleasant evening meal on this cruise. It starts with a glass of champagne and then you are gradually served your dinner. There is time before dinner to walk around the ferry and enjoy the view. Do keep in mind what time sunset is because you'll likely be returning after dark. There was a mix of people including a large family gathering. It was a bit noisy, depending on where you were on the ferry. It was beautiful to see the bay at sunset. We did enjoy the cruise and our meal.

We took the ferry from Cronulla to Bundeena to take the coastal walk.The ferry ride is a gentle ride across the bay offering a great views of the various properties that line the shore.A slight hiccup, we had to turn back shortly after starting out as one of the two man crew forgot the ticket machine…..🙈
Other than that no problems , an enjoyable ride.

The Port Hacking River Cruise (3 hours) was stunning, interesting commentary, amazing scenery, the Royal National Park is incredibly breathtaking. The water way is calm and tranquil. I also enjoyed seeing the homes and boats in the area. The boat we were on was a traditional wooden ferry, very special to have experienced a trip on it.

This is the second time we have enjoyed the lunchtime cruise. We were not disappointed. The service was outstanding.
We were made to feel welcome, all the staff were friendly, polite and helped our elderly parents on and off the ship. The food was wonderful and plentiful - we could eat no more. The ship and facilities were spotless.
I would highly recommend. Thank you for a perfect day on the river.

Ferry trip to Bundeena return from Cronulla. A brilliant family activity, great staff. The ferry is historic but I never feared it would not make the trip! There are seats indoors for poor weather or for and aft in the open if you want more spectacular views.

Make sure you check how much they are charging you. I was charged $41.50 instead of $24.90. Plus we received a whole heap of attitude from the staff. So disappointing because it's such a nice old boat and the experience is usually lovely, but you could feel the contempt oozing out of these guys. I've travelled on the ferry plenty of times but this really left a bad taste in my mouth.

Dinner cruise is wonderful value and scenery is fabulous. 2-1/2 hours of pure enjoyment, well worth the money and meal was fabulous

We all had a fantastic day. The band were awesome, staff amazing and the food was good. It was a beautiful day lots of dancing, eating and drinking. If you are looking for a great afternoon with family and friends I would highly recommend this music cruise leaving from Cronulla. A great time had by all.

Hi Cronulla Ferries
My Mum who turns 96 this year spent many holidays with her Uncle who had a house at Gibbon during the 1930s and 1940s. I also spent holidays there during the 1950s. We always went by ferry to Bundeena. My Mum has asked if we could do an encore trip this September. I was wondering if there is some way we can get from Bundeena to Gibbon for people who can’t walk very far. Would it be an idea to take a lunch cruise.

There is a lunch cruise at which leaves from Cronulla. I treated my Aunt to the Champagne Breakfast cruise from Cronulla for Mother’s Day back in May. It didn’t stop anywhere but skirted around the Royal National Park & southern shire waterfront suburbs before returning to Cronulla. I’m not sure if this might be what you were hoping for but I hope it helps.

We are looking to catch the ferry from Cronulla to Bundeena this Sunday. we are getting to Cronulla by train. I note your ferry leaves at 30 minutes past the hour. The train to Cronulla gets in at 27 minutes past the hour. Is there any chance we can make the ferry in 3 minutes from the train station, assuming the train and ferry arrive on time?

Come out the station turn left (downhill) turn left under footpath and downhill to ferry . about 300M . However if the train is pn platform 2 its 600m ish. 3mins is possible but very , very tight .
ring up the ferry company , its run as a family affair and tell them your plans and see if they will give you a minute or two . Ferry is cash only
