Paid a visit to pleasure park while on a day out in Barry. Thought it was going to be good with lost of rides but was really disappointed, not alot of rides for the older kids the rides are more ideal for small children. Its very tired looking needs abit of a revamp.

Took our family from Australia to visit the pleasure park the parents were last here some twenty years ago and they were amazed at the improvements. We all enjoyed the time at this well run pleasure park and congratulations to the new owners, great.

Had a walk up here one evening whilst stopping at the Premier Inn. The beach and front is in great condition and looks to be well maintained. Nice portion of fish and chips whilst sat on the embankment and then a decent coastal walk along the peninsula with some good views over the bay and back in towards Barry. The... More

Beach was lovely and clean. Children enjoyed playing by the sea and on the penny machines in the arcades. Great little cafe at the top of the island (red one) Fair ground could do with some more work, but has come along way from a few years back!

Visted during our overnight stay in the area, after years of neglect the new owners seem to be spending lots of money in improving the park and you can see this with whats already been done. I can't wait to see it when its completed as I have really good memories of the park from family holidays.

Went for day out to Barry Island 13/7/16 was very disappointed needs a lot of upgrading, & more to do, no public toilets available which is a disgrace, however had a great fish & chips lunch at a place called Johns good value for money at £5.60 for fish, chips & peas

We went to BarryBados on a surprise trip for our daughter. As she is a huge Gavin & Stacey fan. The Pleasure Park was great, a lovely and clean place, a great variety of different rides for all ages. We had fab weather too, which was good. Worth a visit. 👌🏼😊

Barry over the years has needed a bit of a lift & now it looks much better. Thanks to the tv show Gavin & Stacey i think it made the beach more popular. Visit the Fair Ground & Arcades, walk along the beach. Enjoy some chips & most importantly the Hot Fresh Ring Doughnuts ( my favourite ). Great for... More
