A little slice of countryside in barry

A lovely place , just to stroll around and meander down to the coast line, with a small cafe serving well priced food.

The park has lots to do including a golf green, large green area to walk the dog and beach with sea views. There is a picnic area where you can BBQ near the sea. It is a great place to walk your dog.

Coffee and sausage sandwich were very good and staff helpful. Location is beautiful whether for a walk, visiting beach, taking kids etc. Only shame is you need good weather as if raining there is not enough shelter. Plan my walks to include a visit.

Excellent place to walk your dog, lots of wide open space coupled with a great bit of woodland providing great shade on a sunny day. Then there is the beach to explore! Have had many happy walks here

This country park is now operated by the local authority. It was once a privately-owned estate and farm.As you take the road from the far west of Barry into the park you descend a tree-canopy hill and that gives you the sensation of switching off from the hustle and bustle of town. Drive further from the bottom of the hill... More

Such a beautiful place to walk the dog, so many walks and trails to discover. Then half way round stop for a cuppa and a lush cake, cafe and outside areas always clean, staff are always helpful. Fab

A very relaxing park to visit away from crowds. Shop, car parking, pitch and put, toilets, beach, woods and walks all there. Not for anyone looking for bars or life.

Woodland trails, open fields, mini gold course, play park, a huge viaduct, sea and pebble beach... All within 100m of the car park! It also has a café and toilet facilities.

Took my 3 young boys to the park for a nice educational day out. They spent all day looking for mini beast with a vast area to explore and kept then entertained for hours. Would recommend to anyone who wants a change from the ps4 or xbox.
