I love this park. Its beautiful. It's got something for all ages. Its perfect for a romantic evening walk, laying on the pebbles under the planes coming into land, a family picnic or a walk with the dog.

Beautiful large open space for families, walkers etc. Walks down to the waters edge. You have even got Mrs Marco’s cafe, the sister cafe to Marco’s on Barry Island.

Very scenic open countryside space, with large viaduct. Nice place to visit in summer or winter, but does get very busy on bank holidays, and you will have to pay for parking. There is a shop/cafe for refreshments and the pebbly beach. Good for picnics...More

Used to have a static caravan in Porthkerry. Decided to revisit, and go down to Porthkerry Park. Well worth a visit, pebble beach,so paddling is a bit difficult.Lots of lovely walks, wonderful for dogs.

I’m a local (well, lived here for 4 years), and Porthkerry is one of my favourite places to go, which I always think is a good sign. The car parks get busy during peak times, but I’ve never had trouble myself. There’s a nice little...More

Portkerry is a beautiful place well worth a stop and run / walk around. Lots to see and do. The cafe is hit and miss. The service is so slow, even when not busy.

The car parking is free on weekdays and only a few £s on summer weekends. The BBQ grills are spaced around the field, the nearest is only 100yds from the car park

Not far at all, if you’re in the car park near the toilets and cafe... probably a few mins. If you’re on the over flow car park on the field... closer to 10 mins if you’re carrying stuff :)
