Gorgeous garden, fine for a young family
We had a lovely 90 minutes here as a family of 5, we went to view the garden which is £3.50 to enter. Stunning, it looked beautiful in the sunshine. A number of paths set around a large pond. We kept our youngest in her pushchair as she was asleep when we got there, and the paths and steps were quite a challenge, but we coped. We spotted loads of dragonflies which the children loved, and we loved the collection of trees and plants. The nursery looked to have a great selection of plants, and if we were not on holiday I am sure we would have left with as many as we could fit in the boot!

    Wonderful Colours
The nursery is very well maintained with good descriptions and good choice. The Garden (cash only)is found at the bottom corner of the nursery. It is well terraced and very difficult for those with mobility problems . The well positioned benches were well received. The central lake seems fairly lifeless though we were delighted with the mating frogs. The layout of shrubs and flowers gave a very colourful vista and invited meditation. Well worth a visit if reasonably fit.

Dingle Nurseries and Garden Visit July 2022
An unexpected pleasure, lots of (steep) footpaths to explore, lovely lake with wildlife, specimen trees including acers, plenty of benches and arbours to sit in, remote location, plenty of free parking, small shop, friendly staff, well stocked and well looked after retail nursery (wholesale nursery also on site), well worth a visit. Featured in the 2022/23 Gardener's World Magazine '2 for 1' booklet. Adults £3.50 ea.

An oasis on the edge of Shrewsbury
We visited the Dingle after a trip along the Severn on the Sabrina Boat. Only the riverside entrance is currently open to facilitate a one way system around the garden. We got there around midday and there were only a couple of other people there! It is a really beautiful and peaceful place which was landscaped by Percy Thrower - his house (which is now used by the organisers of the annual flower show) is just a short walk away. Not to be missed!

    Delightful Dingle
Have been going to Dingle Nursery for years. Wonderful selection of plants to meet all your needs. The staff are so helpful offering great advice. There are times of the year when it can appear a bit lost due to the season. Chat to the staff and find the best seasons to visit.

    Nice afternoon out
After looking around the wide range of flowers and trees up for sale at the garden centre we went around the landscaped grounds. With a wide variety of trees, shrubs and flowers working down the hill side to the lake at the bottom a pleasant walk around the grounds.

    Good Garden, Great Garden Centre
There are two elements here: a garden centre (attached to a very large nursery) and an attractive private garden. The garden costs £3.50 to enter (RHS members 2 for 1) and is well worth a look. Although apparently a 4 acre site it is all on a very manageable level - you can imagine your own garden having these plants, it is not a grand garden of a public house. The exception is also the star of the garden: a very large pond at the base of what seems to be an old quarry. The best view is from the 'Anderson Shelter'. There are plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the views. The garden centre is a gem. The plants are beautifully kept and there is enough variety that if I lived locally it would be very rare that I'd need to look anywhere else. And the prices are very reasonable (I guess that's the benefit if the nursery - you've cut out one set pf profit margins and transport costs). We got a tremendous haul for just £25. Any gardener within a reasonable distance needs to take a look at this place.

    Dingle Gardens. Great value.
This is an amazing garden and well worth a visit. We took some beautiful pictures and ended up buying some plants from the attached garden centre.

    Disappointed
My husband rang the Dingle nursery. He wanted to buy me some large pots for a Birthday surprise. We have been visiting this nursery for many years. Therefore he was very surprised when a very rude female member of staff was off hand and unhelpful. She told him she had just returned from holiday and was unsure of what was on sale. And if he wanted to make a purchase he better go there himself! She was extremely unhelpful. We know on speaking to other people this is not an isolated experience. We used to love this garden centre. But won't bother again.

Not worth the money. Only signs of maintenance was the gravel paths. Plants were underwelming. Garden center ok but some of the staff were completely under qualified. Sun in full bloom and staff were hosing plants from above. Expect plenty of burnt leaves.

Disappointing, looked unloved with many part dead plants needing attention. Very little colour even in July and very few plants of any interest as most looking very tired.

A very beautiful small Garden. Yes, it isn‘t quite big but sometimes the smallest things are the best… the Rhododendrons have been blooming and it has got several beautiful acers. The pond is really nice.

Glad I had a 2 for 1 card, pretty gardens but no more than 30 minutes there . Their sister garden centre the Derwen is far better,
