A truly beautiful lake in a stunning setting. Whilst I did not do so, I understand you can hire boats to take out on the water. Worth seeing regardless!

This is a great place for walking and enjoying the nature. There is a beautiful reservoir which is amazing. This is a peaceful place. Highly recommended for day trip.More

It was a lovely day in October so I took my elderly mother for a ride to Lake Vyrnwy. It was very quite with very little traffic on the roads. The leaves on the trees were just changing colour which added to the beautiful scenery....More

The ride round the lake is tarmac so yes fine for scooters.
