We have lost count of our stays here, at least over 30 and never disappointed, just returned from our annual 3 day Brolly Break, service was fabulous as usual, black beef steaks well cooked and very tasty. Menu overall seemed improved and breakfasts as a delight as usual. Stunning room, stunning views fabulous location looking forward to next year already,

We walked all the way around the lake on a Monday afternoon in January 2017, wow it was cold but dry. Loads of waterfalls to see. Visited the Douglas Fir that's been felled and a hand carved out of half a tree - yes, this is true - a must see. Stick to the road that circulates the lake and... More

We walked to the Rhiwagor Waterfall. About a mile in each direction. Easy walk - well worth the effort. Falls were quite impressive. A bit slippery as it was a damp weekend.

This lake is well worth the effort of finding it. There is a tarmac road round the lake which you can drive ride run or walk. Fishing on the lake is also available. If you want to unwind this is the place
