It was our first trip with my inflatable kayak. We enjoyed the views of Mynydd Troed but after a while, the wind blew us into the bulrushes.

What a lovely tranquil setting. There are some lovely walks taking you along the shore. There are a lot of water birds on the lake.

Instead of making a muddy walking tour beside the lake, we took the easy asphalt track to the side of the lake near cafe and boathouse, where a small insular cabin is erected with information about plants, wildlife and history. A bit further on the...More

If you just want to view the lake the area around the jetties is flat, the walk around the lake has stiles , can be boggy if wet and is not wheelchair friendly. Their is a cafe 250 meters from the lake.
