Okay, the £5.00 fixed charge to park does seem steep but go there for the whole day and it is reasonable. It is a stunning blue flag beach. Dogs not allowed so no fouling. And lifeguards to keep everyone safe. I don't agree with the...More

Short visit with elderly parents and confronted by very apologetic attendant blaming greedy town council for £5 charge for less than an hour parking. Return when charges are dropped to a more competitive rate.

A stunning beach with lots of activities and rock pools. I am not a beach lover, but I could spend hours on this beach. There are good coastal walks near the bay.

White sands was stunning the day we visited. The tide was out and made walking the large cove a delight. Surfers come here and there is a lifeguard on duty. Parking is plentiful and there is a cafe as well.

We went here as the base for a walk along the coastal path. The scenery is breathtaking and the beach lovely. However having paid £5 to park we were surprised that you had to pay extra for the toilets! I'm glad I hadn't come with...More
