Whitesands camping is a must.

Biker welcomed! Wonderful campsite with the friendliest staff. Mark is an absolute gentleman and I was greeted with "how lovely to see a woman on a motorcycle".
The pizza night is a great idea and value for money. Ablution blocks would need 24 hour service as visitors are just gross! You are allowed to make a fire on the beach, which was a treat when watching the sun go down. Totally going back next summer!

A nice beach with a lovely cliffside walk affording great views
Sep 2021
We visited at lunch time on a mid week in mid September. The large car park was just about full but we were directed into a nice overflow field car park. The fee is £5 flat as it is manned and operated by the council and at present there are no parking ticket machines.

It was surprisingly busy so we decided to go for a cliff side walk which gave lovely scenic, coastal views and whilst we walked for c half an hour I think you can walk much further towards St David's Head.

It is the first time I have used my debit card to pay for a loo visit - all of 40p. There is a cafe nearby.

We enjoyed our visit which in the main was the cliff top walk.

Lovely beach perfect for a family day out. It was very beautiful and so big that there was plenty of space for everyone. Huge parking area! We had a fantastic day out with our kids

After a long walk, we needed a cup of tea

A really lovely beach with very few people and a few dogs. After St Justinians where there is no cafe, it was great to find a great restaurant and toilets (but you need 40p for the toilets!)

£5 to park
Oct 2021
Beach not dog friendly until October. Be aware there is a £5 charge for parking, no matter how long you stay or when you arrive. ( 3.00p.m. in the afternoon)
We were going to have a drink in the cafe, so only going to be there an hour, as weather was also bad.
At this time of year I feel the parking charge is to high and should be on an hourly basis.

Beautiful Beach
Sep 2021
A great expanse of sand very gently sloping to the sea. We went late afternoon and it had obviously been a busy day. It is a lovely setting and would make a good spot for families. It is very clean and there is a large car park which, apparently, is £5 a day. As we got there after 4.00pm there was nobody taking parking payments. Which was great as we only wanted to be there for an hour. Would definitely visit again.

Great beach can be a bit busy
Aug 2021 • Family
One of the best beaches in the country . But with covid this year did. become a bit packed more than usual. Always good to have a windbreak and a wetsuit unless you are quite hardy.
I went in the sea every day , the waves were unusually small , but it is normally a good surfing beach .
The cafe at the top of the car park is pretty good if you forget anything , but I would recommend a flask and sandwiches and set up shop all day . Lovely beach in a fantastic setting .

Perfect

It was a very hot day so a beach and a dip in the beautiful clear water was perfect. The parking is £5 but it’s worth it for the gorgeous beach.

Nice sandy beach
Aug 2021
This is a nice clean beach, it wasn't very crowded as we visited on a Tuesday.
The cafe has your usual tea, coffees and ice creams however could do with more hot foods.
The views are amazing. We did some of the coastal walk and after walking for 3 and a half hours, this was our last spot to visit. It was nice to sit on the soft sand and just enjoy the views.
