We were down on holiday and fancied some fun in the waves. Unfortunately my girlfriend wasn't too confident so we decided to have a lesson to make her feel more safe. Chief was great, full of enthusiasm and very knowledgable. We had a great hour of fun, caching waves and learning about the beach and surf. Her condidence has improved a lot and we will plan I keep out bodyboarding up next summer!

Fair play I had a cracking time! I haven't really bodyboarded or surfed before so I was a little apprehensive. But when I phoned and spoke to Chief he reassured me that I was in safe hands and that by the end of the session I would be catching and riding waves on my own. We did a great, fun warm up and a safety talk on recognising the dangers of the beach environment. This proved to be very valuable, especially to my children. He then ran through how to ride the board, position and how to catch waves. Then we entered the water and put our new knowledge to the test. Chief was never far away to help give advice and pointers on how to improve. He then called us all out onto the sand again and ran through each one of us on what we could do to get the technique right. We then learned how to turn on a wave and paddle into a wave without jumping. This was great fun and by the time the lesson was over my children and myself were all able to at least catch a wave by ourselves and ride it all the way to the shore. Great fun and a great session! Thank you Chief! Good luck for the future! David, 42 Camarthen.
