I don't know exactly what I was expecting when my partner found this place, but there were aspects of it that took me completely by surprise.

Not to throw any shade here, but there are parts of this place that have stronger theming than parts of Oakwood - it's just that the theme in question is "eccentric millionaire wants to show you their collection of pickers' yard finds". Everywhere you look there are statues and knick knacks and just, things with faces popping out at you.

The "potty walk" has dinosaurs on it. Why are there dinosaurs? Lord knows, but dinosaurs there are.

The sculptures of giants come with little backstories on signs, which... still don't quite clear up why there are giants in the first place, but they're charming as all get out.

The bear hunt and spooky woods were clearly a bit run down and weather beaten, but that honestly sort of adds to the appeal - something more slick and polished wouldn't have the same effect, especially in the "spooky" section.

The animals were adorable, inquisitive and in some cases very vocal. A pair of very sweet calves were keen to make friends with us, the goose (christened "Dedicated Honk Button" by my partner) was determined to make his opinions known, and the Highland cattle (who now do in fact have a sign up advising people to keep their distance) were beautiful.

As for activities, our son had lots of fun in the play castle, bouncy castle, and various sizes of pedal car, and we all had a great time on the crazy golf. We didn't even do the Frisbee golf because it was so windy, but we still managed to fill 4 hours of what would otherwise have been a dreary overcast day.

Finally, the staff member we met was friendly, enthusiastic and helpful, and offered to keep an eye out for a mask I lost in the wind (possibly a futile gesture, but I really appreciated it).

All in all, an unexpectedly great day out in a quirky, amusing setting. Did my soul some good.

Mainly good day

Recently visited with a large family group. So much to do to keep children of all ages amused. Clean, tidy, reasonably priced every and snacks from the small shop on site. Such a large area also it didn't feel over populated in any way.
The only complaint is that my husband approached a Highland cow behind a low fence (luckily without any of the children). The cow clearly did not want to be bothered and turned aggressively on my husband breaking the skin slightly and ripping through his t-shirt from front to back. It was only because he reacted very quickly to unhook himself from the horns that serious damage was not caused.
Whilst I appreciate all animals can be unpredictable, this cow was behind a very low fence (see pic) and there were no signs whatever not to approach or touch the animal. This causes me massive concern when children are near and would really love to see some warning signs put up for future customers.

Had an absolutely amazing day out. So much entertainment for both adults and kids of all ages. A lovely blend of entertainment, farm animals, beautiful walks and amazing views. Only meant to spend a few hours here but ended up spending all day. Frisbee Golf was great fun…and much harder than it looks! The Adventure Trail walk is absolutely stunning with plenty of questions to educate all. Cannot rate this place highly enough.

We specifically visited Clerkenhill for the Frizbee Golf, as we had never played before, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. As a family of four (with two kids aged 11 and 15) there were aspects of the attraction that were not of interest to us, but there did seem to be plenty of things for younger children to do including an indoor play area and inflatables, and of course animals to look at.

However the Frizbee Golf was the complete highlight, set in rolling countryside with a small stream and plenty of trees, all incorporated into the course to add an element of difficulty to the experience. Two tee positions enabled novice players to enjoy themselves without fear of losing interest due to the difficulty. There are picnic tables placed around the course too, so if you have time you can stop for refreshments if desired (we did!)

The round took us just over an hour and a half, and we went on to play mini golf on their nine hole course, again which was fun and challenging enough to make things interesting.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and I would highly recommend this for families of all ages. We hope to return the next time we are on holiday in the area.

Such a fun day out the staff were great so friendly and helpful. The crazy golf and frizbie golf were great, we really enjoyed it. The adventure trial was lovely with a fun little quiz along the way. Will definitely return one of the best days out we have had for a reasonable price. The cafe was not open but we took a picnic and there were plenty of picnic benches about to sit and have lunch.

Fabulous family adventure park. We came two days in a row! Great value for money and well thought out park.

Our two year old particularly loved the ride on tractors and seeing the animals.

Great for wet weather as lots of cover. Soft play available inside.

Fun day out

Great fun for little and big kids. Frisby golf was challenging but great fun. Crazy although only 9 holes was made all the better by having a sneaky second round.
Staff in reception absolutely superb and very friendly.
Whole site covid compliant with loads of hand wash stations scatted about the place.

Not quite the farm park that it sounds but was actually better than expected. Lots of climbing, slides and play areas for kids of most ages. Take a picnic and it's a very reasonable price day out.
