Stopped off with our 6 & 3 yr olds in tow. We weren't looking for kids attractions but there were enough things to look at in the various shops etc to keep their interest for a surprising time. Lots of expensive items however did mean we were constantly vigilant !! Cafe was nice with lots of wildlife to see but... More

I love the views from the road down to Hilton and will never tire of them. We do charge a small fee for just the gardens, £3.50 an adult, £3.00 concessions and £1 per child as it allows us to keep investing into expanding them and creating all the children's outdoor houses, maintenance etc. Thanks for visiting us and glad... You have to put £5 per person in an honesty box but the walk around the gardens is very picturesque. The nicer the weather, the better it'll be as some parts were quite slippery after rain. You can't access the castle itself as a family lives there.

Hello there, I am not sure you have reviewed the right garden as we only charge £3.50 and there is no castle here. Wherever you did go it sounds like you had a nice time. More

The family loved this place. Great outside space to explore. Kids loved the 'swamp' area and treading across the boards to avoid that mud. The little houses were a great hit and it was beautiful space to spend several hours walking.

Nice walk or just sit down and relaxing. Definitely not type of the place for day out - maybe just for couple hours.

One of Pembrokeshire best kept secrets. With any outdoor activity in Wales, bring wellies. The walks around the Garden are lovely.

We visited here with the dog for a change of scenery and long walk. Sadly the walk wasn't that long and we went around 3 times! Very muddy in areas, but we were fore warned. Not so much gardens as play areas really. Many magical little play houses for toddlers and young children, a rather satanic looking tree play area,... More

I am sorry our gardens weren't what you expected but we do have numerous young and old couples who have thoroughly enjoyed the woodlands and gardens but like you say it's just not for you. We have invested in creating woodland playhouses in the gardens as we strongly believe that by investing in children we are investing in future conservation... More

Bit on the small side but they pack a lot into such a small garden. Very pretty. We took around 40 mins to walk round it stopping at every quirky feature. Dog friendly.. which is nice. Cafe was lovely. Nice warm scone!

Thankyou for taking the time to write a review and glad you enjoyed the warm, homemade scone. I think a scone served with clotted cream and jam should always be ordered whilst on holiday.....a favourite holiday treat of mine. More

We ate in the restaurant which was great food - clearly home cooked, fresh and flavoursome- the 2 staff in here were lovely so had high hopes for the rest. Pottery was beautiful and well priced - people said hello but not overly welcoming. . Lady at the teashop was less than pleasant - and we still had to pay... More

The restaurant is known for is fresh homemade meals and is popular and well supported by locals and visitors alike as is the whole of Hilton. It is such a shame you didn't feel welcomed, we don't believe is hard sale so usually say hello and let people browse at their leisure. With regards to the wedding area it only... More

My partner and I were looking for a unique wedding venue in Pembrokeshire, and stumbled upn Hilton Court. As soon as we arrived we knew it was the perfect place to hold our tipi wedding. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and well kept. From lakes, to woodland walks, the bandstand, uplit trees at night, rope swings and the resident dog... More

Thankyou for such a fabulous review. As you know we only hold a limited number of weddings per year to make sure that the venue continues to stay exclusive and so that I am able to give all couples involved all the attention and help that they need. I am so glad you chose our venue and will never forget... More

I am so pleased that you decided to visit us and that you enjoyed your time here. The Hilton Pie is one of my favourites although the lamb bake is one of the most popular dishes. We are actually trying to replace all the plastic green chairs with wooden ones as i agree it does"t go with the natural look... More
