We went to The Creative Cafe on a rainy Sunday morning without ringing ahead. Luckily they had room for us and we spent a relaxing couple of hours painting and slurping hot chocolate. We were helped and given guidance when we asked and never felt as though we had to hurry. The charge to paint is very reasonable and there... More

we had a fab last few hours of our holiday in the creative café, on a rainy day. The service is excellent, and there are so many things you can paint.

Creative cafe is a lot of fun and the staff are so friendly! You can paint as much as you want for a small fee and then pay for pottery separate! It's all unique to you and usually takes 2 days to fire! Great fun and brilliant for a rainy day!

This was a rainy day escape as my daughter loves painting and she needs to be kept busy. We had a very warm welcome and felt right at home. There's a great choice of pottery that is waiting to be designed. Time flies by and the coffee is really nice. Can't wait to see the results!

We came to the cafe on a rainy day with our two young boys...and loved it! The whole experience was made great for us by Pam. She was so welcoming, so lovely with the children, delightful to chat with, and just so relaxed. It was also so lovely inside, I thoroughly enjoyed all the artistic touches by the owner of... More

Loved the creative cafe! Came with my 8 and 4 year old and it was so much fun. Kids had a great time picking their item and painting it, we were there about an hour but you could easily stay for longer! Staff were very friendly and helpful, can't fault it. Some reviews say that it's too expensive, but I... More

We have visited three times now, each time for birthday parties. Initially my daughters 8th party, and then two friends subsequently booked after ours. My children have painted sharks, plates, stars, pumpkin mugs, etc. Each time the staff have time to spend advising, and never rushing the children. They supplied a standard party tea of sandwiches, crisps, biscuits and cake,... More

Spent a lovely, rainy hour here decorating a clay owl. Good value and friendly staff. Only complaint is that I initially asked for the item to be sent but also stated that I would confirm this as I had some relatives visiting the area the next week. As soon as I knew if they would pick up the item I... More

My 9 year daughter visited as part of a birthday party. She had a fantastic time and painted a dog, when we picked it up a week later I was amazed at how skilfully she had painted it and how great it looked glazed. We have also been before to make unique birthday presents for family special birthdays.
