Windy walk along Golden Road
Oct 2021 • Couples
Left bikes at carpark on B4329 beside Foel Eryr. Then drove round to Llainbanal (near Crymych).
Walked east to west along spine of the Presili Hills past the multiple stony outcrops.
Good views in all directions including the coast.
10.77km walk back to bikes.
Had to cycle 15km back to car … stopped at Tarfyn Sinc pub in Rosebush for lunch on way back.

lovely hills

Amazing hills in Pembrokeshire. Plenty of footpaths to explore the hills. Pack a picnic and a waterproof and get some fresh air.

Beautiful

We rented a holiday Cottage in Rhosfach and walked the hills daily. Some steep climbs but the Beautiful landscape and views were worth it.

Different routes for any ability, including some suitable for motorised scooter and pushchairs

We took a circular walk from Rosebush to the highest peak. Stunning views in all directions. Quite a steep climb up but gentler walk back down.

Hills? Not really
Oct 2020
The maps give the impression these 'hills' are much higher. In fact they are barely hillocks and I think the Ordinance Survey should do something.

Lovely place for a walk and great scenery on a clear day.
Nov 2019
Enjoyed a great walk in the Preseli Hills during our recent holiday in the area.Car parking was easy in an off road park. We followed a path that had obviously been traveled by quite a few before as we didn't want to get lost in a place that was new to us. We were walking in mid-November and there were places where the ground was really boggy so take care and wear good footwear. We did take on our walk on a lovely clear day, which is essential if you want to really appreciate the views. My dog, Holly Terrier, and I didn't come across any farm animals on our walk but if you have your dog with you take a lead as there were a few wandering sheep in the far distance.

The Preseli Hills .. A place to get away and step back in time.
Sep 2019
The Preseli hills are that forgotten piece of Pembrokeshire that has stood still in time. The walking up there is simply wonderful. You can visit Carn Menin the place of the Blue stones for Stone Henge . Climb up to the iron age fort of Foel Drygarn or just wonder along the acient Drovers road that crosses this wild land. So put on your hiking boots make sure you have a map and a wterproof in your rucksack as its Well worth a visit .

Pure peace and outstanding views

Title says it all. A lovely moorland with deep history dating back to the stone age. Climate foel cwmcerwen for the highest peak. Carn ingli also had amazing views and is slightly less challenging. Don't miss this on your holiday to Pembrokeshire.

What a place to visit, full of mystery enhanced by the ever changing light. A walkers delight, the same walk can be done many times and still feel fresh.
