I you love trains then this is the day trip for you. Run entirely by volunteers it is everything a railway should be...on time, spotlessly clean and the most polite and we'll informed staff.

A last minute decision by our 9 year old brought us to the railway...and we are do glad we did! Granted sunshine helped...but such accommdating helpful pleasant staff! A lovely long journey through beautiful scenary, with easy hop off stops to visit various sights along...More

Railway ride on narrow gage steam locomotive was excellent & would highly recommended it. 6 adults & 1 child in our party & all found it an exhilarating experience. Return tickets were not too expensive. Total rail journey was approx an hour long one way....More
