You have to get here early to park in the car park. But its worth getting up early to visit this fantastic beach. We walked to The Boathouse bistro/bar along the beach and back again in fantastic weather, About 1.5 miles Would recommend The Boathouse...More

Luckily we were blessed with fantastic sunny weather. Beach was busy with families and both my daughters had a great time, had to drag them off the sand when it was time to leave! Would definitely recommend. Really nice ice cream shack on the beach...More

Spent the day on the beautiful beach today. Unfortunately, irresponsible dog owners insisted on letting their dogs run riot in the Dog Free area resulting in a spoilt afternoon. No sign of the warden.

Headed here on our last day on Anglesey and really glad we did. You can enjoy a lovely long walk either along the beach or the Coastal path heading around Red Wharf Bay and the views were wonderful. However the beach is equally good for...More

Lovely beach nice and big, plenty of room even during the kids holidays, easy access with good amount of parking. Beach caters for dog lovers too to the right hand side, important for us as we travelled with our ageing canine who enjoyed the space,...More

One of our favourite beaches on the island. Lovely sand, lots of room, cafe, beach shop and Dolly's Kitchen serving wonderful cakes, ice cream and drinks

Wide expanse of lovely soft clean sand. Apparently you can walk round from this beach to Red Wharf Bay I may try later. When we visited it was not main holidays so plenty of space not crowded but I imagine it gets very busy in...More

Large sandy beach. Walks to Red Wharf Bay when tide permits. Steep hill down to beach and back from main town centre. Pay and display parking and 60 min side of road parking. A couple of beach cafes.

Hi I am looking to book a camping trip for my family, I have a 6 and 4 year old so ideally want to stay as close to the beach as possible. I'm looking for a campsite with electric hook ups and allows fires in tge evening if you can recommend any? Thanks

I'm afraid I can't help you with a recommendation as I haven't stayed at any of the campsites in the area but maybe the Visit Anglesey website might be of some help to you. They are also on Twitter. Or ask Keith at Anglesey... More
