This is a fairy plain pier in Beaumaris on the seafront and although a classic location and attraction, its fairly plain

Beaumaris pier is not huge but nice enough for a saunter along to take in the tremendous view. Really nice, lots of seagulls and usually some crabbing too. There’s a lovely ice cream shop at the front of the pier too.

A great little pier for kids to learn and master the art of crabbing. Railings all the way along to you feel the kids are safe and water deep enough to get some great crabs. Shop at the start of the pier selling nets and...More

Absolutely lovely pier full of people trying to act like professionals in the crabbing department! 😂 My kids loved it. Bring bacon... the crabs seem to enjoy it!

Lovey pier, lovely area. You can park for £4-5 per day and its in easy reach to the Castle, shops, fish and chips, ice creams and great boat rides. We did crabbing off the pier and was great fun!

Pleasant pier which is usually crammed with children catching crabs and keeping them in buckets. It is amazing that there are any left, although it would indicate that most are out back safely.

As one of the previous answers mentioned, I think Bangor Pier would be a better option. There is so much crabbing going on that maybe fish would be frightened off.
