We visited the Courthouse on a dual ticket with the Gaol, really good value. The personal audio guide was very good. The building is well kept/well presented. There was a video enactment of the case of the final execution which was very well done though...More

I thought the audio guide really helped to take you back in time... Well worth a visit, especially if you get a combined gaol and courthouse ticket... Very impressed with both.

Wasn't on our 'to do' list but very glad we found it. Informative audio guide on a self guided tour provided lots of interesting information and facts.

This was the first time I'd been when it was open & well worth the visit. Informative audio guide and really atmospheric buildings. Well worth combining with the gaol - you can get joint tickets.

Excellent dressing up and the handheld listening device is Brill though my son manages to put his on Welsh speaking and wouldn't go and ask the man to change it. Very educational. Spent a good 45 mins.

We bought dual tickets for the courthouse and gaol and had a fantastic time with interest for adults and young children. The lady on the front desk (Jayne?) at the courthouse was brilliant; so friendly and enthusiastic. A great experience though of course also very...More

I attended with family who live in Beaumaris. The courthouse is very old, which was immediately interesting to me. I absolutely love history, and will never complain about the price of entry to something that relies on that to preserve this history. When you go...More

Visited here on a rainy day with 2 children aged 7 and 8. We all found it very informative and being able to wander around at your own pace was great, a hand held device offered further info on the exhibits. You can buy a...More

Built in 1614 it has remained mostly intact. You get a hand held audio guide which explains the courthouse beautifully. It gives you a real sense of how the courts were run and how harsh the punishments were in those days. Very interesting museum!

I think all 3 are more than do-able in the same day. The Gaol, if you are the kind of person to read every plaque, could take 1-2 hours. The courthouse, again, if you read everything and want to watch the video they put... More
