What a hike
Sep 2021
We weren't aware we could drive up to the reception and enjoyed the long but pretty walk up. The grounds are lovely, well maintained and quiet. The falls are stunning but be aware that it's a climb to get up to them

Stunning. Recommend the Bell tents.
Aug 2021 • Family
STUNNING!!! We stayed in a Bell Tent for 2 nights in August, 2 Adults and 2 children and it was stunning.
It has a little pool with waterfalls at the bottom surrounded by the camp site, a rocky bottom to the pool but the kids didn’t mind and they were all happy to paddle throughout the day.
The walk further up the hill provided the most amazing waterfalls that you can imagine in Britain.
The bell tent was amazing, full quipped with a comfortable double bed and 2 sofa beds, fairy lights, a plug in heater, carpets and kitchen area with kettle toast and fridge. So quaintly decorated.
There’s a smal kiosk shop on-site selling bare essentials. The shower facilities are excellent with a small charge for 5 minutes showers.

So pretty but a rocky road!

Very strange place as its in a camping site with holiday makers in. So you feel a little intrusive at the beginning and end. The walks aren’t easy in places, you’ll have to climb rocks and jump down in places. Sometimes we weren’t even sure if we were on the path! The waterfalls however are lovely and makes a great walk!

Good walk

Worth a walk round. Three types of walk are designated, we followed the riverside one but it is not very well signed and you have to take a leap of faith sometimes and hope you come out on the track again. Fairly easy walking with some pretty waterfalls, not huge but worth a look

Water water everywhere.
Oct 2020
Water water everywhere. Snowdonia has more water from rivers, streams, springs and lakes than anywhere I know and this area certainly does not disappoint. Crystal clear waters pouring across the rocks. Wonderful walks and pathways. Not easy if you are less able. Wonderful place to stop and have your picnic lunch. £3 to park for the day and their are lavatories! Nothing to pay if you are fit enough to make the walk up from Llanbedr or across the mountains.

A little piece of heaven at a campsite
Sep 2020
The location was really beautiful, so much to see in the local area, from Portmeirion village, Harlech Castle, beautiful unspoilt and quiet beaches, friendly pubs not to mention the waterfalls right at the campsite and lovely walks you can do from there. The staff were really friendly and super helpful, their ice cream was heavenly - they allow you to have open fires (as long as they are off the ground) an even hire them out if you don't have your own and you can buy wood etc. too. The amenities are kept clean and the showers are a great temperature, and powerful which is such a plus !!! Not a bad word to say and why would I they really care about their customers and it shows, we will not only highly recommend it to friends and family but next time we make it down to Wales will definitely return it was that good ! thank you

Fabulous place

Beautiful waterfalls, great walk for a 7 & 10 year old following the blue trail. Reasonable parking prices at £3 and lovely shop for an ice cream/coffee afterwards. Also there is a toilet available on site.
