I was walking in the forest this morning and passed by this tea room in a remote but fantastic location. It was a Monday so I doubted that it would have been open and as it wasn’t then I can only rate it on its location. A little further on, I stopped to chat with a very charming local inhabitant who told me that the tea garden was open at weekends and had been the previous weekend but I’m not certain if this applies during winter months.

This used to be a regular stop whenever I visited Coed-y-Brenin & rode "The Beast". Sadly the last couple of years, when I've passed there were no signs up & certainly not open. Shame...used to offer great cakes, although the steep climb after did mean having to resist another helping.
