7.8.23.
Took our 4 year old Granddaughter to try and keep her occupied for a few hours.. there is a small playpark which was suitable for her age.
Got a cup of tea from the cafeteria sited in the leisure centre.
There is a small activity park in some woodland and a small man made lake with some ducks and other wildfowl on it.
Wide open spaces with well kept grass.
We passed a couple of hours including time for our picnic.

Could be a great leisure centre if it had a good management structure and staff that cared but sadly lacks both of these vital factors and is greatly let down, some of the worst unfriendly, miserable reception staff ever seen working in any leisure centre.
needs better signs for changing rooms and how to use the centre lockers etc as staff do not give correct or any info very pot luck depending who is on reception.
Gym has good equipment but again staff not all that helpful as they should/could be and this seems to result in loss of repeat custom.
Air con in the gym is often broke or not working as it should be, but is a fair to good size gym with all the right equipment and fairly well maintained and clean.
Some staff do a good job and One staff fitness member does stand out from all the rest and is a real vital asset/credit to this leisure centre gym, she really does a great job and is by far the most friendly/helpful/hard working staff member this centre seems to have.
Parking can be a nightmare as right next to a secondary school- better parking when school is closed otherwise hit and miss depending on times you visit.
fairy clean but most staff seem to walk passed dropped litter - again this is down to poor management/lack of good quality staff that care.

The concert was great but the venue did have some issues. I do not expect to sit in a seat covered in bird poo for £60! No....I really mean laden with a lot of crap! Unacceptable, sorry! I do understand that the world is a changing place and terrorist issues but when asked not to bring in your own food and drink, so you are forced to buy in-venue stuff, not only is bloody awful but grossly over priced! Come on Eirias Park! You can do better than this!

It’s heartbreaking to see how the Park has been left . No boats on the boating lake . This place used to be a fabulous day out for families. I used to go a lot as a child. They had trampolines, bikes, all sorts . It was a great day out . I think the council need to re-think this Park, and put it back to its former glory. It would attract a lot more visitors to Colwyn Bay and back to its hay day 🥲

To say this building is 'tired' would be being generous to a fault. It's knackered. Dirty, broken, cramped, old and generally a very unpleasant place to be. Typical council staff; not particularly efficient, smart or helpful. Only a fraction of the lockers work and they haven't even bothered putting out of order signs on the broken ones, which left a big queue of people trying locker after locker and having to move their stuff along until they found one that worked. Total joke! The pool was probably great in it's day, but now is old, cold, rusty, mouldy and falling to pieces. Will be looking very hard to quickly find an an alternative to this dump.

No boats on the boating lake, pitch & putt has gone, generally run down..and no public toilets as far as I could see. Play area for toddlers (our grandchild) was well appointed though.

This review is only about the swimming baths and does not reflect on the rest of the park.We were a family party arrived at approx 11.45 and queued and paid as it was our fist visit were directed to changing rooms,we all changed and went through the shower and into the children's pool which is the first pool you come to on entering bathing area.We were then ordered out of the pool as it was only 5 to 12 and your not allowed in before 12 o'clock. We were all wet and quickly became cold after being in the water,we and others were left and made to wait these 5 minutes before being allowed in.Nobody told us on entering that we weren't allowed in before 12 or we would have waited rather than standing getting cold. The centre itself is unfortunately like all council run facilities suffering from cuts, its jaded and badly needs upgrading ,they also need to educate the staff who I suspect been there along time and have fell into poor ways, they should treat the customers much more respectfully ,and they need to replace the scruffy yellow polo shirts they all were attired in.These baths are one of a few left on the coast after all the closures so you haven't much choice but if fewer people use them they will go as well, but don't accept poor customer service complain and things might get better,.All in disappointing and made worse by staff Colwyn Bay council do something about it.

Having decided to pay the mothly membership to use the facilities at Eiras Park and the other leisure centres in Conwy, I was disapointed to find that it is so dirty. This is evident in the corners of the squash courts, in the grout in the "health room" (where you're more likely to get an infection than a sauna) and on the dirty, brown and hair covered floors in the changing areas.
The reception staff and rude and disinterested. I would like to offer praise to the fitness instructors who are helpful and show more customer service skills that the receptionists.
Eirias does offer a good range of facilities. It is a shame that it is let down by rude staff and ingrained dirt. What is also interesting is that as an establishment owed by the Council and promotes exercise is that the cafeteria serves very unhealthy food such as sandwiches on white bread, saugage rolls and the like. They should use the cafe as an opportunity to run a healthy food establishment which the area is crying out for and serve chicken salads, brown wraps, protein drinks, brown rice ect. (Just a suggestion).

Hi. I'm going to gig at Eric's park Saturday and staying in Llandudno. There are buses running from dingke road till about 10.30. Is it likely I will be able to catch a bus or do I need to order a taxi? Any ideas on fares? Travelling alone!!!

You should be able to catch a bus. I went to a concert there last year and walked. Safe enough for a lone female, lots of people about. Last year the busses were free to local carparks. Depending on where you park your car, no where is more than 30 minutes walk. If you need to get a bus to Llandudno you should make it OK,I never use Taxi's so don't know the cost, sorry. Also consider taking the train.

EIRIAS PARK/ZIP WORLD STADIUM
On Saturday 2nd September I went to watch RGC which I have done every week since their inception. I attempt to park in the new park, to be told that it is only for VIPs and I would have to park in the normal area and walk back. I park where I normally park behind the gym and go through the gate that I normally go through. This gate normally has attendants that will inspect my season ticket, no attendants this time. I walk to the area where I normally get a drink to be told that it is not open and there is a tent behind the main stand where we could purchase a drink. I would not be able to walk back, so I did not go to the drinks tent. I sit in the seat that I have sat in for years to be told I should not be sitting there but in the main stand. Behold, along come the regulars that normally sit there, most I assume are also season ticket holders, but I talk to a few who just walked in for the first time for free who thought it was great.
I watch the game, which thankfully we won, only to see the car park which I was told I could not park in, as it was for VIPS, half empty. I speak with the same attendant he tells me that they are going to extend the building that was the bar we used to use two seasons ago and that is the reason why we cannot sit in the little stand, why?
Can you please tell me the reason for all this nonsense?
