Wales's oldest functioning theatre and Britains oldest functioning cinema. A beautiful if understated Edwardian building which presents the authentic movie experience for which classic films were intended. A huge asset to Colwyn Bay and the North Wales Coat. Unfortunately there was no sign of interval ice cream the days I visited.

We went to see the NT Live production of Hedda Gabler at this lovely venue. This wasn't our first visit, nor will it be our last. The theatre/cinema is a lovely, cozy venue that has a nice gentle slope and all seats seem to have a good view of the stage/screen. Staff and volunteers are extremely friendly and helpful. Ticket... We have been lucky enough to be able to see so many events at this refurbished old theater. Including, plays, Ballet, Pantomime, films & Live broadcasts from top class theatres around Britain. All this & an exhibition space upstairs. The disabled access & facilities are excellent. The staff are very helpful. This place is a little gem.

The venure is fine, small and compact and I have been to see several shows there iver the years, This review is re the Burlesque show on Sat. I'd always wanted to see a burlesque show but was really disappointed in this. Found the production amateurish and disjointed and actually left after the first act. There was very little humour... Myself and my little daughter and mother in law went to see the Chrismtas pantomine of Jack and The Beanstalk which was as it should be.... fun and a bit more fun !!! Fair play to the production team of Magic Light Productions. Excellent production. The theatre itself was very well kept and the small audiotorium made the show feel... More

Saw Floyd Effect last week, fantastic tribute band, never saw Pink Floyd but this band was excellent, must be close to real thing. Old building with character, would be a regular there if lived closer.
