We called in here whilst staying downtown Memphis. The building was originally Lanksy Brothers Clothier To The King. The place is full of Elvis’s things. The architecture of the building is beautiful. It’s a very large building and upstairs is where Elvis’s white cape etc is. They do food which was reasonably priced big portions and lovely, the drinks were great as well. A typical Hard Rock Cafe it has lots of memorabilia and is very fascinating. Well worth a visit don’t miss it.

The reviews on here say it all .. this is an appalling, abysmal, dirty and greasy place. Hoping to get a nice meal and we were given dirty encrusted menus, ordered drinks and waited 30 minutes. Complained at the staff member with attitude said “there are just two of us and you will just have to wait”. Finally got our drinks and decided to leave this dirty place .. they didn’t care and it was not busy. How can this brand support this awful place. My suggestion is this; just the place down, give it a good clean and recruit staff who wish to be their and of course, instigate a proactive training programme.

The device was outstanding. Tasha our waitress was great, the manager and valet were extremely knowledgeable. Food was good. We just has burgers and fries. The memorabilia, the stage for the musicians and the gift shop were well put together. It was well worth the experience.

Went there on Monday lunchtime for a snack and drink while visiting various attractions in the area. We were greeted at once and seated and given menus, but after that there was no one to be seen, we waited at least five minutes expecting someone to introduce themselves as our server and to ask if we wanted drinks but no one came, the restaurant was really quiet, so after another wait we decided to leave and go elsewhere. It disappointed us as we have been to others in San Francisco and Vegas and always got good service.

I've eaten at Hard Rock Cafes around the world an you just can't go wrong...the food is always good and the atmosphere is upbeat but the location on Beale St is not the best. I was honestly afraid my car might be gone when I returned. The kids and I ate and quickly retrieved the car.

We love Hard Rock and Memphis was our 17th Hard Rock Cafe. The food is excellent, the staff, the music - all what you would expect from Hard Rock. Everything is quintessentially Hard Rock. Lot of Elvis memorabilia, well it is Memphis. The ceiling mural depicts the 'Forever 27 Club' and Elvis, with candles in their memory. So what is unique about this Hard Rock, well let me tell you. You walk through the door and you are greeted by Wayne. He has worked for Hard Rock Memphis since it opened (something like 17 years I think). He is such an icon, he has his own Hard Rock Pin - seriously he does! He takes you on a tour of the cafe and tells you the stories. He asks you if you want to choose some music. He tells all the staff who you are - he treats you like royalty. No, he treats you like family. In fact, that is how all the staff at Hard Rock Memphis treat you. Whether it is Anthony (table service), Cassie and Lizzie (bar), John (management), the guy with the big hair in the Rock Shop (sorry I don't remember your name), everyone - they all treat you/me/everyone like we are their family. We loved it so much, we went five times. Every Hard Rock Cafe is unique in its own way, but our visit to Hard Rock Cafe Memphis was truly memorable because of the staff. Thank you we will be back and we highly recommend this Hard Rock Cafe.

I ordered the Chicken Fajita and it was very good! My boyfriend had a Garlic Spinach burger and his french fries were delicious, they were not plain. The seasoning tasted very good. The music may have been a little too loud, since I had to repeat myself to the waiter a few times.

We were extremely disappointed in this particular HRC.
Even the staff does not eat here! Halfway through our meal, Domino's delivers pizza ordered by the staff. Right through the front door and stood at the Hostess station with the pizza's until someone ushered Him to the unoccupied main bar.
Steak on the salad was cooked who knows when, then reheated to well done, despite being ordered medium rare. The same for the pasta with chicken. Cooked hours/days before being ordered, and warmed to order. It was still cold in the center. Service was good, though check was brought to us without even asking if we wanted coffee or dessert! It was 7 on a Wednesday night, and only 2 other tables in the entire place. Not 1 person at the bar. No live band.

We only went for drinks but we love the whole Hard Rock vibe and try to visit at least one when travelling.

Went into the bar for a cold beer, the most brilliant welcome from the barman he asked us for I’d,it made me smile nearly 50 years old, did any stay long not many people in the bar but very friendly people in Beale street Hard Rock Cafe Memphis, worth a visit if you visit deffo 🇺🇸🤙
