As artist Billy Swan sang, "Memphis Rocks!" Located in the cotton-trading capital of the Delta, Memphis virtually invented blues, soul and rock 'n' roll. Once well-known for heavy gambling, voodoo, murder and prostitution, Memphis is just a hard-rocking place where you can get great food and hear hot tunes. Home to both Sun Records and Stax Records, this city has always been foremost in finding talent, and the rollicking live music scene is still kicking hard today. Maybe that's why Memphis is mentioned in more songs than just about any other city. So if you're out "Walking In Memphis" on the "Memphis Streets" and you get yourself a mean case of the "Walkin' Blues," just do the electric slide or "Memphis Boogie" right on into the Hard Rock Cafe Memphis and let us ease you into "Memphis Bliss." Our historic building, set on boogie street Beale, has done time as a recording studio and a saloon - the perfect combination for an electrifying menu that'll make you stomp and shout. Memphis was also Elvis's home, and the only place he ever felt he belonged. So come on down, y'all, for a taste of Southern hospitality and "Good Rockin' Tonight," 'cause you're bound to soon feel the exact same way. And while Elvis may have left the building (on a "Memphis Train?"), you can stay as long as you want. It's a "Memphis Thing."

This was a LATE night visit and it was GREAT! The service was fast and friendly and the food was tasty and reasonable. Even got some Ice Tea to go without having to ask the server... He absolutely was a step ahead of us on what we wanted. Can't wait to go back...

The only good things I can say about this place is that the waiter we had was very nice and there was a good live band on the night we visited (Rachael Wise band). However the food was awful and I genuinely couldn't eat it. I would not return even if you paid for my meal.

We were here over the weekend! A couple different times! We had April She is a great waitress! All over our drinks and food! Food was very good and drinks were yummy, great nostalgic atmosphere! Music is VERY loud but complete and finished by 10:30,pm. I think the kitchen is a little nuts, but the food was tasty!!

We went in here, to add to our collection of hurricane glasses. The band was a joke. Just a bunch of people thrown together who thought they knew how to read charts. Took 25 minutes to order a drink, 25 more minutes to get the drink, the drink was horrible.

Because the bartender assured me it would be good, I ordered a Piña Colada. And it was pretty good. We sat at the bar. No one checked on us at all till I asked to pay. Then the bartender told "$18". When I asked for a bill he THEN rung up our drinks. And handed me a bill for $15.25.... More

I arrived at Hard Rock and waited for the hostess so that I could be seated. Five minutes later, still no hostess, so I decided to take a look at the store, that's located at the back of the restaurant. No one to help me there either. The restaurant was pretty much empty, only 3 or 4 tables. It was... More

We've visited many Hardrock Cafes throughout the world and this is the worst we've ever been in. It seems like a Hardrock impersonator, apart from the menu and shop attached to it, you'd never know it was a Hardrock as there was no atmosphere and not much memorabilia, not very hardrock café like. On the plus side, the service and... More

I was little concerned about the service issues in other reviews, so came in expecting a less than perfect lunch. Having just finished, I have to say that there was absolutely nothing to complain about. I was seated quickly, had my order taken by a friendly server, and my burger arrived exactly 10 minutes later. Cooked perfecly, the Big Cheese... More

Chose here for late lunch/early dinner and arrived to find it very quiet. Service was very slow and after waiting a long time for our starters, were served our main meals at the same time! Consequently, a lot of the food was cold by the time we were ready to eat it and the absence of any attentive staff meant... More

We had been to the Hard rock in Nashville and expected the same high standard in Memphis. The layout for the restaurant is very odd we ended up being seated almost in the shop there. The food wasn't very hot when it arrived and part of our order was missing. We didn't bother to query this as I had previuosly... More
