If you love food trucks then this is a place to visit during lunch time. There had to be at least 12 different trucks there offering up all kinds of food. I wanted cheap so we went for hot dogs from the guy with the cart. Four of us ate for under $20 and they were good. Of course I... More

Just a lovely place to sit, enjoy the sunshine, birds, squirrels, flowers, trees, & shade. Right in the heart of downtown Memphis, in front of The Exchange Guest Suites. Love, love, loved it. Truly a pleasure.

I was attending the Uprise festival at the park. The park is really nice and well kept. The surroundings make it a haven, a place to rest and reflect after a walk downtown. My type of place.

This is a pleasant little park located in the middle of downtown. The park is a restful place to watch people and the trolley go by. Picnics are allowed as well as playing on the grass. The park closes at 6 pm.

A very nice park in the heart of downtown; lots of benches under shady trees; great place to sit with a cup off coffee or an ice cream and read the paper or a book; the food truck rodeo on Thursday at lunchtime is terrific. There can be some homeless in the park, but I have never had as issue... More

A beautiful yet small park. It was located just across from our hotel. It is interesting at night. Food vendors come in during the day, if you are in the mood for shaved ice, coffee, or other munchies. Most of what you will see are joggers and dog walkers. However, you may run into a pan-handler or two. Fountain, flora,... More

Not much to this place. Sure there's some historical value. There's also homeless people hanging out, too. We enjoyed feeding the squirrels and birds. You can purchase squirrel food at the Peanut Shoppe. The squirrels are very friendly and will come right up to you.

This park is so well kept and adorable, and as a tourist absolutely love the number of squirrels I can watch in awe.. HOWEVER I would not recommend walking through this park on your own after dark. It is quite seedy, and if you can avoid it I would

Beautifully kept up park area. Very nice during the day--horse drawn carriage rides, trolley, but as the evening rolls in, so do the seedy characters and bums. Great during the day, steer clear at night.
