Was blown away by the rich history and comprehensive story told at Stax. This museum makes it all personal and up front and helps you to understand what Stax records did to transform American music. Give yourself a lot of time and enjoy

A very good presentation. Really informative and it evoked memories of my youth in the 70s! Such a rich history and good to see it is being faithfully maintained. Nice to see free parking at the back!

Hi, Jim. We recommend at last an hour and a half, but if you're a fan of the music and history you might want to stay longer. There's a lot to read and a lot of video. Hope this helps! Thanks, Tim
