I highly recommend our tour guide, Kathy. She was very informative, personable, and flexible, since my wife and I were the only people on our tour the day we went. The tour concentrates on the area north of Beale Street. Easy walk, if you are not wanting to cover too many blocks or climb hills.

This was so much fun! The bus drives around Memphis and passes many of the important music sites in Memphis. The tour guide also plays live songs that correlate to site that you are driving by. The tour we took went past sites having to do with BB King and Elvis. Sun Studios, Graceland, Stax music, and the Lorraine hotel... More

We had a great morning touring Memphis with Larry!! He is an excellent historian with a wealth of information on Memphis. We stopped at The Peabody Hotel to see the ducks, stopped to have lunch at Central Barbecue, stopped at The Civil Rights Museum (saw the outside of the Lorraine Motel) and ended up at the Rock & Soul Museum.... Eric or tour provider was very entertaining and knowledgeable. He kept the adults engaged. This is not a tour for 10 and under. There is no movement all time is spent on a bus, it is air conditioned. Kids will not be entertained in the slightest. You must have a true passion for music history or you will be very... More

Our guide on the Mojo Music tour was a doll, wish we had asked her name. She gave us awesome history lessons on the music greats in Tennessee and the stories behind different songs she sang. We are so glad we booked this Tour!!

this mojo tour was pretty darn good. they had a tour guide who actually sang songs with her guitar, and she was REALLY good. you have props to help the sound of music and she gives you tons of history from there home town. VERY entertaining, loved it.

My daughter and I went on the "Ghost Tour" and the only ghost we found, was the ghost of our money past....When I purchased the tickets for our tour, I specifically told the tour guide my daughter had JUST had surgery on her leg and could not walk fast... She assured me that it was a "Leisurely pace with multiple... More

We took the tour that visited the Peabody, Rock and Soul Museum, and had the BBQ tasting. Our guide (Michael) was informative and provided back stories to the history of Memphis. Only draw back was a scheduling issue caused us to have a limited amount of time at the museum and we kind of glanced over the Lorraine Motel. Other... More

So, so pleasantly surprised by this wonderful hour and a half tour. Wow! We cannot recommend the Memphis Music Mojo Tour enough. To us this us a must. So much history and locations we would never have known or seen. Music history was a theme guiding the narrative, but the history went beyond. Musician Eric "Scratchy" Hughes was our host... More
