This is a refreshing drive through this part of Memphis. The houses, apartments, condos are strategically placed all throughout. The walking park along the Mississippi River is very peaceful.

This was a great museum to learn about blues history and the types of activities done in the area in different era's of time. I even learned beer was a nickel at the juke joint. LOL.

Thoroughly enjoyed the monorail ride. Loved the museum visit and the steamboat visit. The Mississippi River was really fun to explore along with all the states.

Plan to spend several hours here. Lots of history plus a full size riverboat recreation, an outdoor model of the entire Mississippi river, and more. Bring plastic - they didn't accept cash when we were there?!

This place is a gem. The entire place was close to being abandoned on this midday Saturday in August. That made it really nice for us … I just hope they get more crowds when it’s not blistering hot (and apparently school is in session)....More
