Loved this place. The atmosphere is great. We got a table right up front and were treated to fabulous blues by Eric Hughes and guitarist. Loved this place for its authenticity, it is NOT touristy. This is where you go to experience Beale Street.

There is a small spot in front of the stage but not a big area. You can dance but we did not see any the night we were there.

You would have to check with Management, I didn't see any children earlier. Some clubs have restrictions on anyone under 21 after certain hour.
