The seats are terrible!!! Upper balcony I cannot fit in the seats. Many are broken and just flat wore out. I dont know why they dont fix them I had season tickets for 6 years I stopped after the choices and styles of shows changed. I was very embarrassed when i took my daughter on a date night Expectations for... More

Any time at the Orpheum is a good time! This is a stunning theater that just transports you back in time every single time you step through the doors. There is absolutely no bad seat in the house, so don't feel pressured to by the most expensive tickets-you won't need them! The stage is visible from all seats. There isn't... More

We have seen touring Broadway Plays, Musical Concerts, Comedians, and attended several Fund Raisers at the Orpheum Theatre. It is a beautiful an inspiring facility, rich with history and always delivers excellent entertainment.

We just saw Neil deGrasse Tyson at the Orpheum. Beautiful, beautiful theater. The show was informative and funny. We were in the orchestra section and our view of the stage was excellent. Sound and lighting were spot on. The only down side is the seats. They're on the smallish size and very close. We had a full house for the... More

We drove to Memphis from St Louis to see Neil deGrasse Tyson at the Orpheum. It reminded me of The Fox Theater in St Louis but not as large or ornate. I am short, but though we were in the last row of the Orchestra section I could see just fine. The sound was also extremely good. Parking right across... More

The Orpheum is a Memphis ICON. The inside is beautiful but the seats are just terrible. My husband is 6'6 and for him and my nephew to sit down is just terrible. Especially when the show host is asking you to stand up and sit down several times. Plus I saw a Plus Size gentlemen that did not fit in... More

Not a bad seat in the house, friendly helpful staff. Really wish we'd been able to see the Broadway magic show. But we made the mistake of staying at woodspring suites northeast. If you value your well being and that of your family stay away. We paid $200 Just for tickets, but we're unable to sit thru the show because... More

This was my second time visiting the orpheum and it was the first time for my husband. We really enjoyed our time there. The theater also offers wine and some other alcoholic beverages which I did not know. It was definitely a plus! Great time and shows are here! I recommend!

Perfect venue for such a program. Theatre is of a good size yet intimate enough to afford a good seat throughout. The type of entertainment booked at this venue is top-notch.
