I was so happy that my husband treated our daughters and I to a wonderful night out to experience a taste music from the country of Columbia! The visiting group was "Herencia de Timbiqui". They were playful and energetic on stage, and the acoustics in the Orpheum was phenomenal! There is a very similar venue in Omaha, Nebraska which is... More

A visit to the Orpheum in Memphis is a delight, especially if you love the old play houses of the past. This one has been restored to its original glory and is a sight to behold whether you go to see a touring musical or just visit the old theatre. I have seen many plays and musicals here and have... The Orpheum is a top spot for theater and even movies in Memphis . We have enjoyed several concerts, plays, and caught a few movies there during their Summer movies series. Patton on their big screen was really spectacular. The Orpheum always has a great series of events- from stand up comedy, to theater, concerts and movies. See what's on the... More

Restored and ornate theater which has touring Broadway musicals as well as other performers. In the summer there are classic movies shown along with organ prelude and cartoon. Seats and knee room cramped but being renovated

We met here for a walking tour of Beale Street. It was interesting to hear the story of the theatre from our tour guide. There is a walk of fame outside with stars for people who have performed here.

I enjoy visiting the Orpheum for the shows, concerts, and plays but there needs to be more space and the prices of foods and drinks are a little to much

This was my second and my daughters first time at the Orpheum. She loves the older decor and her imagination glowed with thinking of men and women in their finest walking the stairs and foyers in the yester-years. Recommend spending a little more and not going into the upper balcony as seating become quite cramped if you have any height... More

If you have good seats you will enjoy the performance. However I do not recommend anything higher than the balcony.

The Orpheum Theatre in downtown Memphis (west end of Beale Street) is a terrific venue for plays and most performances. If you love old theaters, you need to check out the Orpheum.

Always enjoy going to the Orpheum Theatre. Such a lovely interior. The plays are always good and have never gotten a bad seat.
