New Years Day Walk
Jan 2019 • Family
Stopped here for short walk to stretch our legs on drive north to Fort William.
Easy scenic walking with paths of various lengths.
Large car park at Dalrigh ... previously used this to start hillwalk to Beinn Dubhcraig.

Short walk full of surprises!

Too wet to walk the hills and tired so tried this little woodland walk. Well way marked, excellent views and interesting information board. Obviously a lot of work had gone into making this wood accessible and it was a lovely little place easily reached.

Walk in woods
Aug 2018 • Couples
We went for a walk through the woods behind the hotel and the views were magnificent, this was amazing and on our doorstep. What a wonderful place.

Pleasant walk, great views.

The receptionist at the hotel recommended the walk and we weren't disappointed. A pleasant walk on a gentle incline through the woods. The path was good and well maintained and when we come out of the woods there was a wonderful panoramic view of the river and the hillside. We followed the path and came upon some historic sights which were well signposted. A great way to enjoy the countryside and experience part of the highlands.

Perfect short walk for all ages

Found this trail by accident - lots of snow on the ground and met some friendly local people were felling some trees. Well signposted, interesting amble through the woods. I wish it was longer- I needed a local walk to take my elderly mother (no mountain walks)- she loved the walk too.

Set on the south side of Tyndrum. Unspoilt woodland with historical sights of interest and incorporating a stretch of the West Highland way.

Fine walk
Oct 2017 • Couples
Well signposted, pretty solid underfoot, fine woodlands, great views beyond the woods. We walked about 5 miles, part of it on the West Highland Way. There is a shorter walk too.
