Such a picturesque little village on the banks of Loch Lomond! It is about an hour north of Glasgow, but worth the drive. The village is very old, but it appears to have been kept up nicely. There are many little shops, a couple of restaurants, and many activities including boat rides on the lake. Be sure to stroll down... More

Drove up to Luss from Glasgow A82 northbound, if you're travelling from this way there are 2 options, the first signpost off right takes you off down a small narrow road to the village, often it takes ages as traffic is heavy, or travel on, around about 2.3 miles up the A82 and take this entry point, it brings you... This was one of the highlights of my trip to Scotland. This quaint little village was a sight for sore eyes and although it is a highly touristy area, for good reason, it is definitely worth anyone's time. The village itself is lovely and I found all the staff at all the watering holes very pleasant and accommodating. Coach House... More

Been to Luss several times before and it just keeps getting better and better. There are now more restaurants, shops and lovely tea and coffee rooms. Very dog friendly too. Always worth a visit whenever you visit Scotland

Lovely small conservation village with a beautiful churchyard. Village has wonderful homes dating from the 18th and 19th century. You can park and pay at the visitors center and take a short walk into the town. The area is very small so it is an easy walk to see all the homes. The residents have their own parking spots so the... It's a very beautiful and picturesque village. The houses are made of stone and it's decorated with colorful flowers. Located on the shores of Loch Lomond and the mountains are a delightful view! Don't forget to enjoy a short cruise on the lake and visit the Luss Parish Church, dedicated to Saint Kessog, when you pass the wooden bridge over... More

Luss is a very interesting village - it is a conservation village, so many of the houses have lovely gardens to look at. Lots of great information in the visitor center and lovely things to sample to eat! Worth a stop if you are in the area.

Good for a stop over and walk----quaint little village kept in a very good neat condition--very touristy mind--of course--so not the ideal place to buy gifts--however they do have some nice different articles to take home

I had read reviews on here that Luss was a nice place to visit so we definitely wanted to visit here whilst on holiday. Good job we didn't plan for a whole day, as it really is only enough for an hour or two. We parked up in the car park (pay and display) and visited the little Village Shop... More

This is really a cafe with a room to one side with tourist information and a film showcasing the local area. Good car parking but it is pay and display. Easy access to the lochside. Public toilets are some distance away on the other side of the car park and there is a charge to use them.
