Nice little walks but warning scam parking!!
As like all other reviews for “Luss Visitor Centre” we’ve been hit by awful parking fine for being a few mins over - no time allowed to find a parking space, pay for parking etc.
Pretty village but not worth the parking faff.
Avoid.

We visited Luss on a Saturday afternoon. Big mistake. It was packed with bus tours and people out for a ramble. Claiming to be Scotland’s most beautiful village, we were intrigued. It was indeed a lovely place with a stunning location on Loch Lomond. The “most beautiful”? I’m not so sure, but definitely worth a visit. But not on Saturday.

These little trails are lovely, the Quarry trail was my favourite as it is nice and shaded and very peaceful. We loved seeing the Faerie houses along the paths! The river walk is also lovely and tranquil. My partner also braved the trek up Bienn Dhub and was glad he did it!! He didn't stay at the top long, too many midges!!!

Had a bit of a drive but took a picnic and it was a sunny day there were a lot of people in the car park but toilets there and facilities everything close by and there would be trips from the pier when restrictions are fully lifted. Nice little beach as well

In Luss you wander the village paths seeing the pier shops shoreline pubs and better do the faerie trail or walk up the ben for wonderful views down onto the village and islands of loch lomond

have a good walk around the outskirts of the village then go past the school, across the bridge and walk up Ben Dubh. we aren't expert walkers but managed nearly the top, only stopped by the wind, and the surprise of the blind peaks! The views are spectacular.
Tip: wear sensible footwear and appropriate clothing.

There are some lovely path to stroll through in the village of Luss, with picturesque houses and gardens, and of course - the lake, as a backdrop.
Make sure you park only where permitted and pay&display your parking ticket, as you WILL be fined otherwise.
