Went with 3 other families on a trip. Unlike previous days when the loch water was calm, our trip was much more challenged with windy conditions.

We battled the small waves and wind to successfully make it to the lovely beach where we had snacks and drinks. Ian entertained us with lots of interesting info of the area which the kids loved.

Again, we excitedly battled the weather and made it to the other side of the loch with lots of cheering.

It was a great experience and adventure which we wont forget for a long time, especially my 7yr old who cannot wait to tell her school friends!!!

Ian and the rest of the locals at Lochgoilhead are a fab bunch thank you!

This was a great family outing, suited for all ages. Was not sure how my fussy 6 year old would be on the water, but Ian was great with everyone and was immediately treated to a battery of questions from young man, which he handled brilliantly and has been added onto the family wall of heros! The experience is very leisurely down the loch with a great picnic with tea and coffee completed with roasting marshmallows over the open fire.
This is an outing worth doing and the team, Ian and Joni and the kids are all great.

Had a great trip out with Ian our intrepid giide and my boys aged 12 and 7 to go and see the seals.

Ian very knowledgeable about the local area and very good with the kids also. Our trip overran due to our reduced paddle power but nobody had any complaints and we never felt rushed.

Camp skills on the beach for my eldest and my youngest enjoyed the marshmallows. Would recommend for anyone.

Fantastic time with Ian on Loch Goil. Surprisingly spacious in the canoe as we were a party of 6 adults , 3 teens and 2 dogs. Saw the loch at its best from sunshine to sunset and not a midge in sight. Ian was a great knowledgeable and fun host who makes a great brew on a fire. We were encouraged to bring a picnic and stopped at a great spot. We saw seals in the water and at the colony. We all agreed this trip was the highlight of our holiday.

Had a lovely evening and found quality family time on the Loch under the guidance of Ian. No wi-fi, no phone signal was just bliss. Even the children found time to speak to each other and me. For a good time away from all things that make noise, ring or ping try a 3-4 hour trip.

Ian welcomed us right from the beginning. It was a nice sunny and warm day and we were very lucky to spot seals while we were canoeing. Ian is a very knowledgeable person and I'd recommend this trip to anyone who would like to do something different, meet other fellow voyagers and spend some time on Loch Goil enjoying the views from the waters. Keep the great work going Ian!! Thank you also for the biscuits and warm drink.

If you only do one thing in the Loch Lomond area this is it! Voyageur Canoes. Only 20 minutes from Loch Lomond. Life jackets and paddles provided.

We were 9 adults, family members. Some of us went last year in October and when I knew the English relatives were visiting it was an easy choice to go canoeing with Ian, the informative and knowledgeable guide. Big thank you to Joni for organising us and confirming the day before, much appreciated. We were delighted to meet her, the children and new puppy on the day.

I didn't think we could top last years excursion, but we did. Seals and porpoises! Amazing! Weather was mostly superb. Stupidly forgot my iPad for pictures so only have a couple taken from the car park after the outing. Will definitely do this again hopefully before the end of the year.

Jus off the canoe 20 mins ago, probably one of the best trips/ tours Ive done in the UK. Iain our Guide was superb, he is local to the area and knows pretty much everything about it too. We done the four hour trip round the Loch. About half way round we stopped off for lunch ( not provided) . Iain made a fire and boiled the kettle for tea, coffee or hot chocolate and home made shortbread. He again went on to gave us another insight into where we were and the trees surrounding us.
If your in the area or would even like to have a day out in the area you MUST book a trip on the argyll voyageur canoes.you wont be disappointed.

Had a fantastic afternoon on the canoe , amazing way to see the loch from a totally different perspective. Even though an array of different weather Sun, rain, rainbows, hail , rain. Good for us all as family 3adults and 2 kids aged 11&12 easy enough for them to do . Saw 9 seals all kept popping up. Thanks for the hot chocolate and fire making skills
Would highly recommend this activity if in area or even if needed to travel to it . Will be back
