The beauty of these falls caught us by surprise our first visit to them on a recent trip to Scotland. We loved them so much, we ended up returning to them before we left Scotland four weeks later!

Having visited the Falls a few times now, it still remains a lovely place to stop and just sit and listen to the water cascade down, and take in the natural beauty of the place. Ignore the traffic and you are a million miles from the rat race! With plenty of places to stop and get refreshment, this is a... More

Have visited these falls many times over the years, and no matter the season, they are always thrilling to watch! Saw them in January during bad floods and they were spectacular! Visited in July and still worth watching, something mesmerising about them. The old bridge they travel under is a photo opportunity as well, and the surrounding scenery is breathtaking

After a week stay in the highlands an afternoon trip to the falls was a real treat. We stood mesmerised by the falls for an hour and lucky enough to see an adrelenalin junkie kayaking the Rapids. Gift shop at the falls was the best we had found all week and the cheapest and the ale at the pub spot... More

The water tumbles over a series of falls which are split in two by an island in the river. It then rushes under the bridge and continues its thunderous descent. Make time to see the falls and then have a coffee or a snack at one of the many tearooms in the village of Killin. Very impressive.
