We came up here as it was listed as the Number 2 activity in the region of Loch Lomond and the Trossacks. It wasn't worth the 45 minute drive from where we were staying. It is a short section of Rapids, not really Falls. The rocks are very slippery and the greatest entertainment is undoubtedly standing on the bridge and... More

Magnificent beauty spot, very changeable with the weather. The more rain the more splendiforous the falls.

Each time we visit Killin, a walk to the Falls of Dochart is the first thing we do. A little piece of heaven on earth. It is a beautiful setting in every season...a favourite of mine.

Lovely to look at, parking a pain but there is off street nearby, best when it's been raining and the water is up.

Lovely falls for pictures. The road up to Killin is not the best and quite stressful, so I wouldn't necessarily visit here unless I was staying. But well worth a look if you are looking for a quiet weekend break.

Dochart falls is at the start of killin, and is amazing to view. They are more Rapids rather than a water fall but very impressive to see. Further down the river is a viaduct which is the second oldest viaduct I believe in the U.K. Very nice scenery. Killin itself is very beautiful and worth a visit.
