The A82 offers many great places to stop on the route and this was one of the best. You get great views of the whole lake and the visitor centre also has toilets and a place to purchase food. A great rest stop.

An Ceann Mòr on the shores of Loch Lomond at Inveruglas Visitor Centre, is an art installation for the Scottish Scenic Routes project. Can’t say I think much of the art work, but it’s a useful platform for getting great views of Loch Lomond and the surrounding glens. There’s even a pair of defunct binoculars to puzzle visitors, but maybe that’s part of the art too esoteric for me to understand.
Go for the views, the art work wasn't my thing.

We made a stop for 30 minutes or so, after a drive up from England. We visited early evening, after a rain show, so the views were spectacular. There's a small fee for parking, and toilet facilities. You could argue any parking pays alongside Loch Lomond provide stunning views, and this is another. The pyramid is a great addition though.

Beautiful architecture, in the form of a wooden Viewing Pyramid that then allows wonderful views across Loch Lomond.
Solid, steady stepped access via the purpose built path to the left from the car park. Therefore not suitable for prams/wheelchairs as such, but is only a gentle route so easily reachable for those without any mobility issues, even if elderly or not avid walkers.
But be fair if you enjoy it, and drop a coin or two in the charity donation support box just behind it.

Not worth a special trip but ok for a short stop if you're driving that way along a windy, narrow stretch of the A82. Plenty of parking spaces. Clean toilet facilities. Good view of Loch Lomond on a clear day but the binoculars on the underwhelming structure don't work and the cafe is closed [for sale].Half an hour stop more than adequate.

This pyramid was constructed in this place solely for the view - you can see all the lake and the landscape behind it from the stairs or the ground right in front of it. Great pictures guaranteed!
There is a parking lot very close to it, so it is easily acessed.

Absolutely stunning. Very unassuming as you approach the wooden structure as the wow is at the front . We could have sat there hours just enjoying the peace and the incredible views. We were lucky as there was hard anyone about , not sure the experience would be the same at high tourist season ,

If it wasn’t for the coaches dropping off/pick up for the ferry, you could easily think this was closed.

Stopped here on route to Fort William, dissapointed that cafe was not open but good clean toilets. Climbed the pyramid for great views of Loch Lomond.
