The path runs from the main car park in Balmaha up several flights of steps. There are great views even fronm quite low down, but it is very busy and, when we were there, muddy. Dress warmly to keep out the wind.

It was extremely cold. windy and wet but well worth the effort.
It takes around two hours and is difficult in some places so anyone who isnt agile will struggle.
