Absolutely a fantastic experience! My very first time on a horse, I had no idea what to expect but Suzanne and her team made everything so comfortable and easy! I loved the way Suzanne explained about each horse and there personalities, I had Rosie and i fell in lobe with her, think i grinned all the way through the trek! The views are breath taking. It is very easy to find, plenty of places to park.

Undoubtedly one of the best days out ever! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming & knowledgable. You could tell they were experts in their field and had such love for the animals they care for. The horses on site are absolutely gorgeous and have the most wonderful nature. The two girls that took us out on our trek were brilliant! A total laugh the whole way there and back and really put us at ease (even with a first time rider being in our party). The trail was perfect with the view at the top making it all the more worthwhile. Entirely unplanned but, we enjoyed ourselves that much that morning, we then booked in for the clay pigeon shooting (much to our surprise as we did not realise the wide range of activities that were on offer!) Once again, the passion for the sport and hospitality from the staff were second to none. Our shooting guide made us feel so relaxed (again, with there being a first time, quite nervous, shooter in our party) and encouraged competition and fun the whole way round. By the end I felt entirely confident with my practice of the sport and I am itching to go back and try it again! A family run business with some of the most down-to-earth people you’ll ever meet. That alone made this place a sure fire choice to spend the day. Unforgettable memories have been made here and I will be recommending this place to everyone I know! You MUST visit!

Must do activity if you are nearby. Easy train journey from Glasgow to Balloch where Suzanne was kind enough to pick us up. Horses are very well taken care of and it is clear Suzanne takes pride in her work. As 2 more experienced riders, trail rides abroad can be very hit or miss but this has by far been one of the best experiences. No head-to-tail lines of tourists but very small groups and Suzanne catered the experience to our ability. Cannot recommend enough!

We booked in to Loch Lomond Pony Trekking on the last day of our trip and absolutely loved it. Suzanne the owner is beyond charming and puts new riders at ease. The ponies/horses... adorable. What makes it so special is you get to access a part of the countryside you cant see by bike, walking or boating. It is totally magical. We went on a very rainy, misty day and the views were still absolutely speculator. On a clearer day they must be even more breathtaking but the mist really added a sense of ethereal drama. Honestly like moving into a different world. We had so much fun, cannot recommend highly enough.
