A general cave tour was included in the Bluegrass Underground Bucket List Package; I would have selected a more in depth tour if I made a visit to the area specifically for these caverns. The tour guide was terrific. Worth it, especially if passing through or in the area.

My wife and I have visited Cumberland Caverns several times over the years. The beauty and majesty of the cave is breathtaking and the story about the Cavern's origins is awe inspiring. If you can plan your visit accordingly, take a tour of the cave and then attend a Bluegrass Underground concert in the Volcano Room. It is the largest... More

As a parent/teacher researching Cumberland Caverns as a place to take my homeschooled kids for geology class, I took notice on the Cumberland Caverns blog that teachers are encouraged to bring kids and receive a $20 gift certificate to their gift shop. When I called, Cumberland Caverns said there has to be a larger party (other than my two students)... More

We are sorry you weren't made fully aware of the incentive for school teachers. This was put into place to encourage large classes to book early in order to have room for all kids to visit as we often have to turn classes away due to everyone trying to schedule visits for April and May. We put out another incentive... More

My friend and I were in Nashville and looking for a place to hike outside the city. We had a car so distance wasn't a big issue. We stumbled across Cumberland Caverns on out search and decided cave hiking was a cool idea. Upon further investigation, we found that the Saturday we were planning to go also happened to be... The guide was informative and the tour was very interesting. However, you need to have on good shoes and be cautious in walking through the cave. Worth the price.

This cave has some great little tales about it. Pieces of coulda been forgotten history and fortitude. There's music in the cave on some nights and even sleepovers. Better, though, is the different rooms and the stories of how they were explored. I highly recommend this tour!

My husband and I thought this would be a fun thing to do and we enjoyed it. It's pretty much winding down for tourist during this time of year. We had a tour guide all to ourselves. Shelby was very knowledgeable and had many interesting stories. I've seen prettier caves but we had a nice time. I would love to... More

We were very lucky to get in a very small tour. Only 4 people. They said school had just started, so it was the beginning of their off season. This was a perfect time to go, The Caverns were easy to go through and very pretty. There was one area that had a lot of stairs, but they warn you in... More

Many delights in this cave. Guides are knowledgeable. Wouldn't take a toddler but older kids should enjoy. Staff was friendly and helped us when a member of the party became ill.
