We where on our way home when we saw a sign for the caverns. We stopped and were surprised at how clean the grounds were. The cave has big rooms and lots to look at. You have a choice to go up lots of stairs or wait till the group gets back if you can not do stairs in the... More

The music was terrific, the caverns unbelievable but parking and access less than ideal. We ended up parking In foot high grass about half a mile from the building where the box office is. An uphill walk on the road itself, no trail or sidewalk. From there, there is still a gravel road to walk until you are at the... More

We are sorry your walk from the parking area to the caverns was less than desirable. When the upper lot fills on BGU days, we have no option but to park our guests in a lower access field to help accommodate everyone. Currently, we are in the process of upgrading our parking lot and planning an addition for early next... More

It's raining at the campground. What do we do? Go underground. Tour is $20 for 1 and 1/2 hours. 56 degrees year round and 99% humidity. Tour guide is entertaining and knowledge. Fabulous stalagtite and stalagmites and flow formations. Wear a jacket and there is a lot of walking so make sure you can manage uneven landscape and 350 stairs.

We had a great tour on a very rainy day. Our guide Isaac did a great job even though he had been up much if the night with a church group that had slept in the cave. Formations were gorgeous and a short light show was interesting. Somewhat strenuous, with 300 stairs in and out. Volcano room where the Bluegrass... More

Now for the tour the price is 50-60 depending on family size, the sell a... More

This was our first visit to McMinnville and the caverns and we were happily pleased with everything. My wife and granddaughter and I were returning from a road trip to NYC and googled interesting places to visit. Cumberland Caverns had good reviews so we took a detour to it. We've been to several caverns and this is one of the... More

The family had a great time and a mild workout. Recommend for anyone mobile. The guides are fun as well as informative. I was surprised there was a light show. There are multiple level tours you can take, but the hourly one tour is fun for all ages.

This was my first time in a cave and it was so cool! Our tour guide was good and very friendly. He goes caving himself, so he was knowledgeable and had some good history to share. There is one mildly strenuous part of the walking tour, but you have the option to stop and wait for the group to come... More
