Love each visit to Cumberland Caverns. No muddy trails, No hard hiking. Great way they've built the facilities right into the rocks. Like a world underground with all the things you need to survive in high class.

The sights are spectacular in Cumberland Caverns. Unlike other tours I've been on, ours wasn't jammed packed, & we weren't rushed. Our tour guide was a young man & gave an informative walk throughout the cave. I was in shorts & a t short & never got cold. However, a lot of people brought sweatshirts. This was my 2nd visit... I would give Cumberland Caverns a grade of a B. I have been to numerous caves throughout the US and was a tad disappointed , actually saddened . The cave itself has many wonderful formations, some of the rooms are massive, and the guides are very knowledgable BUT - the graffiti on several of the walls made me sad. I... More

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your opinion and value all our customers. We are sorry you were "saddened" on your recent tour, but hope you will understand in the early days of the cave, the grave markers were a type of recognition of an employees dedication and service-after 5+ years, and also a way to honor their memory.... Ely was amazing! His knowledge of the cave combined with his friendly demeanor made him the perfect tour guide. The tour was mildly strenuous with some tight squeezes and tricky places to maneuver. We only wish we could have done more!!!

Very enjoyable tour. The 90 min tour is relatively easy and educational. Our tour guide, Ethan, was terrific, well informed, and very entertaining. The current facilities are very rustic, but facility additions/expansions are underway that will offer new restrooms.

A great way to spend a hot or rainy day. The "weather" is predictable below ground. Our guide, Bri, was knowledgeable and friendly. Her local accent added an authentic element to the experience. While most of our party was able to walk the entire route, there were options for those unable to climb the stairs toward the back of the... More

We has Breanna as our guide. She was knowledgeable, informative and a pleasure to be with! The caverns were very interesting. They were not particularly challenging, but still got us a bit winded. I'd certainly recommend seeing these if you're at all interested in the exciting world beneath the ground! It was cool (<60*) but we did not require a... More
