Had a great bus tour round Bute. Our driver, Ian, was informative and witty. The bus was an Open top bus with a handy covered space for when the sunshine turned to rain.Highly recommend this tour

Used this tour today, our driver / guide Iain was knowledgeable and very helpful. We felt it was good value as the ticket is available to use on all the islands' buses all day as well.

If you are as lucky as we were, you'll have two things when you are ready to take the local bus tour around the island, good weather, and Paul as your driver and guide. The bus itself is very nice, painted vibrantly with happy colors, and obviously well cleaned every night. With comfortable seats, and a skilled driver, it was... More

The bus tour was fun and informative. Catch the bus just across the road after getting off the ferry (smooth and fast journey from Wemyss Bay). We saw dolphins on our return trip, so keep your eyes on the water.. We sat on the top deck and listened to the driver's tour information. Clear and relaxing delivery of island facts.... More

Bus driver was really friendly and made effort with the children he gave good extra info and even phoned ahead to check they had highchairs at restaurant we wanted to go to. Weather was great which made the bus tour even better. Nothing seemed to much bother for the driver. Takes about 90 mins if u don't get off

What a service! Got the first bus ( 10.30) on Sunday the 29th May. The bus driver was extremely helpful, went out of his way to accommodate needs and give information, advise on accessibility etc. Perfect example of Scottish friendliness and hospitality, I would recommend this highly. Huge thank you!

We spent three days on Bute and enjoyed walking around the capital, Rothesay. The high spot must have been the view of the castle. It has the most wonderful views across to Scotland and there are quite a few restaurants and cafes. The walk along from Port Bannatyne to Rothesay is along the coast and is really lovely with fantastic... More

My wife and I took our two grandsons and the two dogs to the Isle of bute. We picked up the ferry at Wemyss bay with the car which was well worth the cost (£37.20) we would normally go foot passenger on the ferry but decided to take the car, we have been to Rothesay many times before but never...
