We visited the house and thoroughly enjoyed the guided tour by knowledgeable guides, the outstanding part for us was the marble chapel because even though it was a really hot day when we went the marble chapel which is beautiful was actually freezing.

Even if you think you've seen enough stately homes, this one is well worth a prolonged visit. The grounds are expansive & the tea room/shop very good.

Recommended by friends and was not disappointed in this remarkable outstanding prestegious historic building formerly residence of the Royal Stewarts. The imported marble throughout, the decadence and attention to detail, well worth visting.
