We had a fantastically rewarding weekend of otter and beaver photography with Philip who is extremely knowledgeable about both creatures. Yes, there is a lot of searching and a large proportion of your time is spent waiting for the animals to appear but when you finally see them and especially as close as you are able to get, all the... The weekend Bird of Prey workshop exceeded all my expectations (even with back to back 6am starts and an AWOL buzard!). Philip is a hugely knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly guide and is able to answer almost any question relating to the wildlife of the area or photography. The weekend was excellently planned with a wide variety of experiences - Philip... More

We booked on the otter workshop which took place on Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday morning. Philip greeted us and off we went in his van to an otter location. We searched the shore line lying in mud, seaweed, rocks and water so wellies and waterproofs are essential. Philip is very passionate about his wildlife and is extremely knowledgeable telling... Have just come home grinning ear-to-ear after an awesome day's doing the 'One Day Wildlife Photography Course'. Philip was brilliant at explaining how digital cameras work and how to get the best of of them when photographing in the great outdoors. Despite the sunshine / showers / hail we all got some amazing shots of the local wildlife. You don't... More

Within minutes we were amongst the wild deer with Philip availing us of his photographic and wild life knowledge. His understanding of nature and wildlife is amazing. With finding... More

Cannot rate the photography workshops with Philip highly enough. He is patient with new comers to photography and has such a brilliantly simple way of explaining the fundamentals of photography. The thing that really stands out about Phillip is the joy and enthusiasm he still has for photography it truly is infectious.
