We were made very welcome in the clubhouse and enjoyed breakfast before going out. I think this is the highest 18 golf course in the UK. The scenery is spectacular. The course is well maintained and challenging. A burn runs through the course and the rough is unforgiving. We really enjoyed our day.

Afternoon George, Firstly Thank You for taking the time to leave a review of the course. Whether good or bad I am always keen to find out peoples opinions. I have to say though your comments go against the feedback we have from recent visitors to the course. Whilst our greens have struggled in the early part of this season... More

The course was well maintained, the weather beuatiful and the scenery stunning. I e-mailed ahead and described my limited golf ability. Michael, the club house manager, suggested a good time for teeing off which resulted in my ability to play at my pace. The cost for 9 holes and rental clubs was very reasonable. Enjoyed the round and a couple... More

We were recommended the Restaurant at the Golf Club by our B&B Hosts and enjoyed a very nice meal overlooking the golf course. The menu was varied enough for us and the quality and quantity were both good. Service was friendly and efficient and we would definitely eat in the Clubhouse restaurant again.

Stuck for a place to eat and happened upon Braemar Golf Club. Restaurant average, food average, service ok. Meals were basic and more clubhouse atmosphere rather than comfortable restaurant.

The gold club may not be your usual thought for choosing where to eat and drink in the lovely old timey village of Braemar but it certainly is the best place to go. The staff are welcoming, the food is fantastic and the drinks are reasonably priced. I am yet to try the golf club's own whisky but thus far... More

Recommended by the b&b owner we had dinner here. It was a ten minute walk along the river from the town. Not busy but the food was nice. Staff friendly. Nice view over the course.

The views and surroundings are amazing, but the food and the service are excellent, for both lunches and evening meals, good choices and exceptionally good value for money. Definitely give it a try
