Absolutely loved the Braemar Gathering consider ourselves so lucky to have attended and the weather was glorious which probably added to the experience. Well done and thanks to all the staff that work so hard to make each year a success.

What a great day out! Excellent drive from Pitlochry to Braemar through the Highlands. Wonderful events with the military tug of war finals being a highlight. Concluding with a visit from the Royal Family. Get there!

Thanks for the review, sorry you felt you couldn't go in, the grounds are open all year. Although the main gate may have been closed and locked foot entry is allowed all year via the side gates at any time of the day or night.

Had a walk round the Park used for Braemar Gathering which is the Highland Games held in Braemar before the Queen and her family. People come from all over the world to see these games and get a glimpse of the Queen

Yes, there are actual seats. The games are held in a natural bowl geographically so don't let photos throw you off. Many people just sit on the hills above the seats in their own lawn chairs, but ticketed seats are much... More
