you have to go on this tour to believe me. A local guide born and bread, 25 years of tours says it all really, she is like your aunty, takes care of you from the second you meet her in the square. thank you for making my stay so nice. God bless you. ;)

We were lucky enough to have Neil as our guide for the trip. He provided us with local history and interesting facts about life on the Island of Skye. The tour takes you to numerous picturesque spots that are breathtaking. Would highly recommend this coach company for your tour needs.

We found our tour guide, Kathleen, parked and waiting in the van outside the tourist information center. For £22.50 per person, we were given a personalized tour around the North End of the island. The van holds 6 but there were only 4 of us, my friend and I seated in the front seat for the up close view. Fabulous scenery with frequent stops for picture taking. Kathleen is a native of Skye and knows it well. She took us first to Uig for a brief visit, then we headed off uphill on the one track roads. Sheep abound and we even had to honk a few off the road. A visit to the museum of Island Life was next, with stone crofts full of interesting items. Right up the road is Flora MacDonalds grave, the woman who helped Bonnie Prince Charlie escape to Skye after the Battle of Culloden. After a wonderful lunch at a local lunch spot, where we tried haggis for the first time, we resumed our tour to the Kilt Rock, and the Old Man of Storr peaks. Definitely give Kathleen and Glenedin Tours your business. She knows the island, the people, and has many funny stories to tell in her charming brogue. She is also a Gaelic speaker. Well worth the private tour, no driving on the left!
