Walk took longer than expected, but was worth every second. (approx. 3-4h incl breaks). Take good clothing with you for all sorts of weather conditions. Take out your best hiking shoes that are water resistent, as sometimes the path is quite muddy and soaked through. Come early to save yourself a good parking spot (around 9-10 o'clock)

The drive itself is part of the experience with hairpin turns on a narrow road. The area is quite beautiful and there are many moments worth photographing.

It was a muddy and cold walk and you had to run around lots of others, but the view at the top made it all worth it. Was even lucky enough to get treated to a few low flying fighter jet fly overs. The first half is a gravelled road, but up towards the end is very muddy and slippery... More

It's hard to describe how stunning this place is. The vistas and lakes with dark rock and fog make this place magical. My only caution is that, if it's raining, good hiking footwear will be helpful.

We went on the sunniest day of the year, couldn't have picked a better day, as did the whole of Skye! The narrow steep windy road to the top is definitely not for a novice driver! Only narrow enough for one way traffic you need to know how to manoeuvre a car. Parking was a nightmare and being in a... More

Since I began planning this trip to Scotland the Quiraing was a destination which I could not miss. I drove on the high road from Uig. The drive was beautiful. My anticipation was rewarded with a stunning hike. The views are outstanding of the mountain, the sea in the distance and surrounding area. The area is a treeless small mountain.... More

Beautifull walk through the scottish landscape. Definitely worth visiting. Keep an eye on the weather, because a long walk in the rain is a lot less fun.

Only for those ready for a serious hike. It is about 3 miles from the main road along a single lane road. Not well sign posted. The walk is apparently 7km circle track. But there are no signs or markings so no idea how far we actually walked. It is dirt/Rock/mud for the entire walk with some really difficult sections.... More

Great view to the east over the island toward the Scottish mainland. We got there and admired it for a few minutes before the weather changed and away it went. Hills so green with people hiking and mountain biking all around us.
