The centre opened in August 2012. It contains various items of interest and interaction of the activities and life, in, on and around Tobermory Bay and the Sound of Mull. Come and see our salt water tank, touch pools, quizzes, interactive games and the cinema room! Learn about the local history, coastguard, RNLI, fishing, fish-farming, navigation, local wrecks, safety at sea and much, much more! We’re open all year round!

We learned a lot about sea life, fishing and sea rescue during our visit. Children shoul love the place and the small aquariums too. Nice staff. Free entrance, the place is worth a couple of £.

Went there with my 2 kids 8&5 and they both had a great time. Quite a small place but they have packed in lots to do and see. Very good for young and old

great time had by our granddaughters especially the touch and talk on crabs ! Very informative on all aspects of marine life in local area --well worth a visit .

So impressed with this place. We learnt tonnes, kids entertained for ages with the marine tank and then we came back the following day at 1pm where the kids got to hold,, touch and learn about loads of cool crabs. The lady was extremely interesting...More
