Discover Mull is a tour with a difference, based in the scenic village of Dervaig. As well as the 50 species of wildlife seen on most of our tours, we will take time to explain the history and geology and to show you the wildflowers that makes Mull such a special place. Lasting 8 hours the tour is very relaxed and friendly.

Regardless of whether you are an experienced wildlife watcher or new to the joys of Mull, I would highly recommend this tour. Arthur was a convivial and knowledgeable host and guided us to all the best spots to see otters, sea eagles, golden eagles , red deer, hen harrier, seals and numerous wading and sea birds. Even when the weather... More

This is the second tour we have taken with Arthur. His knowledge of the wildlife on Mull is second to none. He knows where to find all the rarities and has an in depth knowledge of all aspects of Mull...the wildlife...the history...the geology...even where to eat! A great couple who provide a fantastic tour and great food.

If you are staying on Mull this is 1 tour you really should go on. We have been out with Discover Mull twice, once with Arthur and the 2nd time with Pam. Both different but covering all the bases at the same time. If you are into wildlife you will not be disappointed. Golden Eagles, White Tailed Eagles, Harriers, Deer,... More

A wonderful and memorable day. This was a perfect choice and we would recommend it to anyone interested in wildlife. We were lucky with good weather too. Arthur is extremely knowledgeable as to where to find wildlife and we were lucky enough to see Otters in their natural habitat as well as Golden Eagles and many other smaller birds. Stops... More

We've been out with Arthur on a Discover Mull day three times over the past 10 years and we still had a magical day despite rain in the afternoon (17th May) as he planned it so we saw eagles whilst it was dry and then was patient until we found otters swimming in the rain. I always learn something new... More

A truly fantastic day which we will never forget. Our guide, Arthur's,philosophy was to observe wildlife in it's natural habitat without contriving to do so and boy did he achieve! Our group of 8 spent an hour watching an otter at close hand fishing amongst kelp as the tide receded. We saw a White Tail Eagle sitting on a nest,... More

We were staying near Dervaig, so Discover Mull was the obvious choice for a full day wildlife tour. Pam, with her friend Belinda, couldn't have made us more welcome. Less welcome was the wind and rain, but hey it's Mull. Despite the poor visibility Pam managed to show us white tailed eagles, otters, seals, red deer, fallow deer, a whole... More

He was very knowledgeable about the history of Mull and the wherabouts of all the things that we wanted to see and the surrounding views.... More

Driving on Mull is not for the fainthearted especially if your vehicle is a motorhome! With single track roads, potholes, hairpin bends and blind summits the driver is NOT going to be looking out for Eagles or Otters. We decided that the safest way was to book a day out with Pam in her 8 seat MPV, and let her... More
