We visited with our daughter while we were in Stornaway there were some nice enough views and a few unusual statues but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here.

Superb route to run with varied views to keep your interest. Probably a 10k if you go through the castle gardens as well and the war memorial. Undulating terrain on hard packed gravel. Great enjoy.

Lovely spot to visit especially if the water is very still, the reflections look stunning in photographs!

As Harbours go it is just that - a harbour. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful sight to see with the boats tied up and the many restaurants.

Great harbour to stroll around. Everything within walking distance. Great bars, restaurants and excellent fresh fish can be purchased on the dock. Lews Castle grounds are stunning as are the boats and seals. Highly recommended!

Central to the life of the town, this harbour is where the ferry docks, as well as being home to fishing boats, trading vessels and yachts.

Again, it's just the harbor by town, but there's some nice walking to be had in the area and the seals were hanging out by the fishing docks, so I enjoyed it.

As long as it's a nice enough day, then it's a nice wee walk along the harbour seeing all the boats. Cross over the bridge, and walk along the path to Cuddy Point so that you can view the harbour from the other side too.

Picturesque working harbour and fishing port. Looks over to the castle. Sculptures depicting local people along the waterfront lined with buildings including shops. Great for an early morning walk.
