The High Cross is located in a setting that is remarkably well cared for, especially since it’s in a rather remote location. It does look similar to some of the Crosses we have seen in Ireland. We have to express our appreciation to the caretakers...More

Very nice spot to dit, relax and think about what is important in life. Good place also to visualise how it may have looked like many centuries ago.

This place is magical and steeped in history. I also noticed some interesting grave stones that closely resemble ones from the 1500's at Finlaggan. These are not really mentioned but an added treat to the old, beautiful Celtic crosses. Highly recommend.

Quite the road to get here. A peace filled place. The cross is beautiful. Take a minute to look around the grounds and see the burial stones. Impressive.

Majestic. We were privileged to see this place. It transport one back to the dawn of early Christianity.

The church ruins, the cross, the tombstones and their inscriptions, and the view made for an emotional stop we're glad we made.

This is a 700 year old crooks one of the first Christian crosses in all of Scotland. Usually antiques of this age are moved to museums, this is in its original place.

If you love history you’ll love this place, not only the cross but some really old grave markers which are still legible today.

Stunning 8th century carved stone cross, in a ruined churchyard. Really worth a look, this place is the definition of honesty - you'll have to visit to understand
